A small suggestion for removing and installing tires on large equipment and dual truck tires.
    Jack up the tire.
Place a piece of metal under the tire (we used flat tin roofing ).
Put a little used oil on the tin.
Let the tire down till it just touches the tin.
    Slide the tire off.
We used to pull dual tires and the brake drum at the same time when doing brake jobs on dump trucks.

Hey Bill, that's basically what we did too, except we used grease and just rolled the whole thing out of the way and when we were done we would roll it back and use the grease mark to line it back up perfectly. No lifting required!

A nice series of videos of working on the truck Mike, I`ve found it really interesting to find out how all that braking, drive and axle locking all works, when it`s all done, the effort ,care and time you`ve put into it will make that truck serve you well for many years to come. Well done to you and also to Matt for his input.👍👍👍👍👍

There is plenty of life left in Bubba Dump!!!!
Really enjoyed watching you all pull her apart and reassemble to full working order, I'm not much of a mechanic but you go out of your way to show and explain the processes to repair all your plant.
Thankfully you found the cause of the non moving at the end, could see your delight at finding out it was a simple fuse !!! 😁
That pump from Amazonia was not quite up the thick viscous oil, I think you probably burnt the motor out 🤣🤦‍♂️

Suggestion/Tip for filling the hubs up on Bubba Dump or other such jobs . Remember, gravity is your friend, so to take advantage of it in a clean bucket of your favorite size such as one that the “Dinosaur Fart” aka gear oil came in and install bung with a barbed fitting as close to the bottom of the bucket as possible and attach a short section of hose to it then a valve to stop and or regulate the flow followed by another section of hose then fill the bucket with whatever fluid/oil you using and hang the bucket from you hoist, set it on a tire, ladder, etc and fill away. Personally I like larger hose before the valve and step is down after the valve as well as using clear tubing, lastly I also like a screen of some sort on the inlet of the bung inside the bucket. I use in tank electric fuel pumps that I get from a buddy who works at a Ford dealership. I use one as a transfer pump for fuel when draining fuel tanks etc, I have another one that I use with ATF, another one I use with oils of all types including gear oil that I have let the bottle/jug/bucket sit out in the sun for a good while to warm up.
PS when installing new bearings instead of using a drift to drive home you might want to consider using the old bearing race you removed. If the bear/race is recessed like the one you just installed consider running the old race lightly on a sander or grinder to remove enough material so that your old race is no longer an interference fit. Lastly when welding up a crack like you did on that housing after you are finished welding on it wrap it in a blanket (preferably a flame retardant welding blanket) to allow/help it cool down slowly.
Have a nice day and a better tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Great to see Bubba leave the shop and cruising around on its own power. From all my years of TH-cam watching the only thing I might have suggested is from the Turn Wright Machine Works channel. Before welding up a crack he recommends drilling a small hole at each end of the crack. I think the theory is by cutting away the end of the crack with a drill bit you stop the crack from any future progress. Hopefully that’s a step that’s not needed if you didn’t do it off camera. Looking forward to seeing more videos with Bubba at work. Wishing you and your family the best.

You know Mike, there is such a simple solution over Jungle "aka Rainforest" Products. You have plenty of wall space and I find that gravity is FREE! A 20 foot hose, a shut off value, tap into the bottom of the bucket, and you'll have flowing oil from a shelf on the wall into all of those wheels hubs (Inspired by those 10 min oil change places, where the oil hoses hang from the ceiling, then pull them down to fill it up).

At 29:00 driving the yoke in. You should have put the locker yoke face down and drive the bearing down on the yoke so you are not damaging the bearings. Save the old bearing races and a driver tool after grinding the inside and outside slightly so you are not driving the balls into the sides of the grooves and shortening the life of the bearing about 80% or 90%.
