Hi, thanks fir the vid. I have the following problem: i have a wifi drone. The range and the quality of the live feed greatly inproves when using a wifi range extender (i have a xiaomi mi2 extender) or a repeater. I have a 3040 router and configured the repeater. But by the extender, there is a new network, but by the repeater the same, as the drone. Sometimes my phone connects to the drone, sometimes to the router. How can I connect them to be sure, that the connection is always thru the repeater? I tried different sequences, but every time pics random ..

In 3040 the repeater mode will have the same name as that of its primary router's SSID. We can't tell if we are wirelessly connected to the primary router or 3040. It will switch as per signal quality. In extender mode, 3040 will create a new SSID. In this mode, you can tell who is connected to whom. So use this mode.
If there are 2 different n/w and your phone is able to automatically connect to any of the devices as per its signal quality then, make it forget the network which you don't want it to switch to. So, It will remain connected to only one network. But if SSID is the same then we are probably stuck with randomness.
