this series made me feel missing my hometown gaven that literally I'm from Mountain Province. OST soothe and calm my inner feeling, it's like a medicine to my soul. i knew no one from the actors so i don't know if they have been acting long time or just new but then they are brilliant so applause 👏to them. the story becoming interesting, so far i like the two shown episodes already and anticipating for what is coming and what's in-store ahead. The fact that they mention "A tale of thousand stars" makes me feel that the cast, production and crews are professional because they acknowledge that this is indeed a inspiration to an original story. I will definitely support this BL until the end.
Why do we have to support a series that is an identical copy of the original? They mentioned A Thousand Stars because it was becoming embarrassing ... ATS is in everybody's mind so it was just a trick. On the top of that, they dare to build the script on the two main sponsors... Who in the world offers aback medications at the first encounter with someone they don't know??? We spent five minutes on the soap drama ... Seriously?!?! Another weird thing: why the director of the school asks his son to take the new teacher around, spend time with him, etc ... The drama is already: the son and the teacher will fall for each other with the father's benediction, and there will eb a conflict with the other teacher and the son's ex-gf ... The upcoming six episodes will be there just to be sure watchers in Thailand don't forget about this miraculous pain killer and to pick this soap that smells so good and whiten the skin (🙄 because of course white skins looks better than "colored" skins ). OK the actors are cute but when they are not supported by a strong, smart and funny script, they are much less memorable.
@@BAKLIWA This really doesn't give the same vibe or romanticized picture of poorer rural area like 1000 stars did. I mean they talk about 13-14 y olds getting married and having babies etc. This is a low budget production so they don't have a lot of control over sponsors. As an international bl fan we can look at skin whitening and be appalled that it's still a thing (and its awful it is!!), but it is. If you watch other low budget shows you can see it's still very popular. I skip all the sponsored parts because I agree it's messed up. It doesn't help that the subtitles aren't the best.. and not having great subtitles can take away from our understanding of the script. We miss things that might have more impact or smart/funny moments because of the subs. If you are a native Thai speaker and say the script is weak.. then okay I can't speak on that since I'm not one.

The fact that they acknowledge that their series got some inspiration from ATS means that they are courteous and professional. If your point of view is otherwise then we will respect it. Please note that this is a low budget series it is not a GMM TV or Channel 3 so the story has its flaws which is very understandable. I am just so happy that some production company are trying very hard to deliver equal love and respect for everyone :)
I love how he referenced 1000 Stars haha. I think maybe 1000 Stars opened a door so to speak for the BL genre. To represent the more rural parts of Thailand and a storyline that doesn’t always involve city living college students. I also just finished Country Boy (Thai BL, 2 eps) and it was also set in a rural area. I’m really loving and appreciating these style of BLs that are being released recently.
Love Poison was the series that introduced me to the Thai countryside. Low budget silliness, but I fell in love with those singing, dancing, skirt wearing (chut thai) kissing country boys.
I think it's interesting, because many might think rural areas find LGBTQ+ themes to be more difficult to accept. So making more dramas with it could be a good lead in for many.
I"m so curious about this series. Best of luck to everybody involved in this project. It's so refreshing for the BL series to show the country side instead of always dealing with the high school and college scene!
The values that this series teaches hits hard. It is similar to my own hometown. A lot of families and their childen struggles in their education. Thank you for showing the real life situations of rural areas Hometown Embrace team
The music is amazing where they act is just so beautiful. This series together with tales of 1000 stars shows the authenticity of the country I totally love it magnificent.

Those words of wisdom by Mongkon was on point. Insufficient funds and actions in education sector especially in rural areas and provinces lead to these kind of situation. It is true that most teachers prefer to work on urban, lack of facilities and equipments, and children doesn't go to school because of poverty which resulting to low-payable jobs and early marriage. It isn't happening not just in Thailand but around the globe.
I love the reference to 1000 stars which in my eyes the best Drama that I’ve seen from GMMTV. Two EPs in, story line, cast chemistry are all outstanding. Beautiful music I so love the sounds of the Thai pipes. Can’t wait until next EP

ATOTS was brought into it! I really liked this episode. It showed the realness of rural life and the struggles families face. Mek and Kom are super cute. Teacher Non is cute, but creepy. I will follow this series til the end. Great job everyone!

I love this series. It’s beautiful, heartwarming, & heartbreaking. For the first time I never skip the commercials and watch the vids to the end. I’d buy the product placement items if they were available in my country. I can’t watch while shows are broadcast - I can’t take it 😉 but I adore this series. The crew, cast, and producers should be very proud. I hope we get more shows like this. 💜🌈🥰
What a cute episode ( yet with a strong message about education in schools in rural zones. ) ! I really like the calm atmosphere of that series so far...it's like...floating on a cloud. I really enjoyed this episode. The "where are you" conversation at the traffic light and the "battle of the soaps" had me laughing 😂😂. Poor Mek standing in the middle having to pick a soap 😄 and Non walking away with such disappointment on his face 😞 Good job everyone 👍. Such beautiful country vistas ... even though it sometimes belies the human struggle to make a living/exist ... girls married 13/14 and boys sent off to be contractors. I love how the teacher had no soap and the other teacher just appeared with a new one, I was waiting for him to drop it and see who bent over first but then the other guy came with even more soap. Flirting with soap is a new one on me but they are all very good looking so who cares
Though I was looking forward to more of Than and Din's story, this episode was great in its own way. And look at the number of languages available in the CC. I hope this series is gonna be loved more and more.
