For the motor, the first element must be the contactor, which contains the N.O. Auxiliary contact; then follows the thermal element called the overload relay which contains the current adjustment knob to trip the thermal overload relay to the motor.

You can place a motor circuit breaker UPSTREAM of the contactor. 😏

how X2 turn on ? While we are not providing the signal to turn on x2

X2 is a feedback from the contactor; once it's running the Normally Open contact from Contactor closes and is a Closed contact. (therefore changing X2 from 0 to 1)
