In german Handel means a trade or a shop, but about the Maestro , I will say it's a whole Economy Science. Vivat Handel !

People think of the great German composers, but ironically it was London that was the centre of musical appreciation. That was why so many Baroque and classical composers went there.

It's also why Handel was pretty much the only composer from that area who stayed as part of the cultural zeitgeist after he died, whereas Bach and Vivaldi had their works revived many years after their deaths

Callow could narrate a doc about Sid Vicious and make him sound like the most distinguished gentleman in English history.

Good documentary the only problem I had was to focus on the words of the presenter given the vast beauty of the music in the background,,,

Oh yezzzzzz fans keep calm & love classy cool music & composers exploring their interesting lives, reminding that they used to perform for big bosses aristocrats of their times, still the Baroque music sounds like...make peace not war, put flowers in your guns and forget murdering innocent people for ridiculous pride disputes, stay home and have babies, only making love you can have a lot of sons, sex is not for trading on a female body to buy her just enough to be sold the next jerk to screw her, it was another world and composers got things straight, still those musical fantasies are the best humanitarian slogan fans. You are doing a great job, never stop believe in

like the wine I drink. I like what I hear. This fucking Handel is great - he´s the prime minister of baroque music. In my opinion ... still the king is .... J.S. Bach.
