The flood itself is vey impressing - no doubt. But I am much more suprised from the amount of vehicles and people still driving and walking through the city! :O Reading just negative news about "abondoned" Pattaya one would think the city would be dead and nothing happens there. No people, empty streets, farangs stayin home in their Europe/America and all thais returned back to Isan. 5555 no way! May be not so full as it used to be, but surely not empty. I could even register kind of traffic jams and this is supposed to be a strickt lock down actually! Before watching this video: my expectation: floods over abandoned roads flowing through abandoned concrete jungles. Reality: traffic jams as usual and many people outside O_O Pattay is stil alive! 555 Thanks CJ for your report!
The problem with modern vehicles and water is that the air intake is usually in the wheel well or just under the bonnet latch. That makes it very easy for an engine to swallow a big gulp of water, that tends to put out the fire
Dude, this is nothing!….I’ve seen cars actually FLOATING down second road getting washed away few years back and people wading up to their chests the WHOLE length of second road, not just a few deep bits!….you ain’t seen real Pattaya floods man!
