Every time the defense does well everyone says the offense was terrible but this happens every year in training camp. You have good days and bad days for both sides of the ball
This just happens in sports for people who didn't play it at a decent level... they never know how to evaluate players who don't have the ball in their hands
I cant believe im about to say this.. but i 1000% agree with Carm 😂 flus is low key cool as hell all of a sudden. Like he no longer embarrasses me and our team. I love the way hes getting his personality out all of a sudden. It's starting to make sense why the guy's like him.
Flus is a good coach, he walked into nagys total nuclear wasteland mess. Nagy and Pace drug the team to a total dump. Every year under Flus and Poles this team improves.
Contrary to everything I see in the media regarding the Bears roster, the offensive line remains the biggest problem, not the defensive line. Nate Davis is successfully trying to overtake Chase Claypool for Ryan Poles' biggest roster mistake to date. He's expensive, oft injured, and below average when he does play. At least Claypool wasn't expensive against the cap. Davis is by far the highest paid O linemen on the team, more than twice as expensive as Darnell Wright. All the skill talent Poles acquired isn't going to matter if the O line sucks again.
Yeah but at least the contract is structured well albeit an overpay for what he's produced 💯. I'm just glad they can get out of it after this year and it'll only cost them 2mil in dead cap. He took a swing on a starting guard, it hasn't worked out so far but it still might. Even if it doesn't, there are FA guards who just signed to 18-20mil per year deals only one off-season later so the deal isn't as bad as it's made out to be. I'd say Edmunds making 18 a year is ugly too. Maybe he elevates to another level this year and it's more justified. You'd love to have that $ on another pass rusher rather than a LB
Not to mention, Davis was signed in the last year of a 3 year moving average where teams need to spend an average of like 90% cash of the cap. The Bears were wayyy behind on this. The Edmunds deal helped with that too and is structured similarly front loaded to get out after 2 or 3 years.
I wouldn't spend too much energy worried about salaries man, especially since Wright is about to cost A LOT in a couple years (and davis will be gone by then). If the bears were up against the cap that'd be one thing but we've had so much money to spend that getting someone who can play is all that mattered... now him actually playing or not is another thing lol
I was concerned when we didnt adress the o line this draft , supper stoked about Odunze and all, but the fact is if the O line isnt sufficient, it doesnt matter how exceptional CW is, he will be running for his life just like JF was...
Mannnnnnn I knows it’s a new offense being installed but this is disappointing. It’s like our annual convo as bears fans. “Iron sharpens iron” I know … but still….
They didn't only pass on Harbaugh once. They passed on him twice when they initially hired Eberflus and after last season when the Bears were swept by the Packers AGAIN and finished with another losing record. I can definitely believe it. The McCaskeys have ruined this franchise into a 40 year clown show. They have an absolute monopoly on the third largest market in the league with a fanbase that hands them their money no matter how pathetic they constantly are. There's zero incentive for the McCaskeys to change unless the fanbase stops drinking the McCaskey kool-aid.
New offense. New player's. New coaching staff.Rookie QB learning a new system. I see 6 or 7 win season. Thoes wins comming mid season after vteam has time to gel.
Poles did an good job of getting us talent but he built outside in on both sides. So the lines are the weaker units at this point. And the o line I think is gonna be the teams Achilles heel. It has t been addressed the way it needs to, but maybe it's a another offseason away from taking care the lines
I predict Caleb isn't going to play Thursday given the O line struggles. I also predict Nate Davis gets cut after this season when his dead cap hit drops top 2 million. I don't understand why Larry Borom and Dominique Robinson haven't been cut already.
Maybe you guys say it later in the show but is Caleb making bad throws on the INTs or is our defense just playing good defense and/or is it him just seeing where he can now fit some balls in the NFL?
It sounds like last year they said the offense was good and they lied! So we will see what happens in a real game! They needed to get in the draft offense help! Let's hope this doesn't bit them later
I'm getting desperate about this O line. I know its just training camp, but shouldn't we be better than we are? I don't want to start this season looking like a bunch of really bad rookies. Don't our linemen have some pride?
This show is missing legit football people, the opinions are far too casual and often over exaggerated. Not enough is put into perspective, the offense needs time to firstly gel, learn the playbook and on top of that develop a rookie QB. This is all gonna take TIME!! This is why I don't personally believe inviting the press or fans into practice is a good thing 😅
We echo that this is a process in this video. If you're looking for perspective from a former player, check out Bears After Dark tonight at 7pm. Former Bear Corey Wootton is on the show every week
Pronouncing a person's name correctly is very respectful. thank you for the due respect good sirs.
Lmao at Carm falling asleep in the final 8 minutes of the show. I thought for sure he was going to crash into his mic
Every time the defense does well everyone says the offense was terrible but this happens every year in training camp. You have good days and bad days for both sides of the ball
It's like Peanut once said. Defense are Bears, too, but fans always cheer for offense. Def doesn't get love until in season typically.
This just happens in sports for people who didn't play it at a decent level... they never know how to evaluate players who don't have the ball in their hands

But we have Caleb Williams and Fields is gone! Nothing else matters!!

Tyson Bagent 2TD's long balls

Great show guys
And the cycle begins...
hoge is in love with caleb, his best is a caleb throw and his worst is a guy touching caleb
tevin brought up the coach saying MOVE in one of his press conferences so its 10000% the reason
I really liked that question so thanks
What does it take to finally get an offensive line that can do the job? Is it coaching, players, or both?
Mannnnnnn I knows it’s a new offense being installed but this is disappointing. It’s like our annual convo as bears fans. “Iron sharpens iron” I know … but still….
As a Bears fan everything that is a concern now will play out during the season as well. It always does…
I’m not sure Eberflus is the right guy for this and I still can’t believe they didn’t even look at Harbaugh.

They have to to let Montez make everyone better. Kicking him out of a drill because he’s too good is setting the bae too low
Bar
hopefully our D-line is actually better and not our O-line has gotten worse.
HOAG showing whos da Boss!! Lol

Trent Williams had 9 penalties last year and Laremy Tunsil had 10. Relax, OL penalties happen.
Having 3 WR1s don’t matter if we can’t protect and give Caleb time.
Maybe you guys say it later in the show but is Caleb making bad throws on the INTs or is our defense just playing good defense and/or is it him just seeing where he can now fit some balls in the NFL?
So it sounds like the fundamentals of football are giant hurdles for this team...
About the grass so thanks
nothing matter til week 1
Why every year same thing o line issues? Injuries, or whatever
BILL MURRAY 😂🎉🐻 👇 LEGEND
Some of you are so emotionally soft.
Literally only the 2nd padded practice and people are freaking out over an offense with a rookie struggling against a top 10 NFL defense🤣
It sounds like last year they said the offense was good and they lied! So we will see what happens in a real game! They needed to get in the draft offense help! Let's hope this doesn't bit them later
Nobody said the offense was good last year lol. Hoge repeatedly said "the ball is hitting the ground wayyyyy too much for 7 on 7s" for instance.
I'm getting desperate about this O line. I know its just training camp, but shouldn't we be better than we are? I don't want to start this season looking like a bunch of really bad rookies. Don't our linemen have some pride?
It's camp. I just want everyone to be healthy for the season and they'll be fine. They weren't bad last year, Fields was.

Poppy was sloppy
Is the oline gonna be a problem
Yea it is lol, you can only change so much szn to szn and last szn was well… bottom of the league.
This sound is ridiculous
If this continues we going to Suck Big Time let's hope not because people will not stand for this you won't sell Bears jersey like that!
That’s why all the jerseys I own are the retired players
Wow 😂😂😂 look at the bears fans when they wannabe, arm chair ,etc. Etc.... yall funny😂😂😂
yall....?
@@kingzing9865he’s an insufferable troll
Its gonna be funny to watch these guys lose all will to live as Caleb proves he is who we thought he was when he Busts this season
So his whole college career pointed to being a "bust" 😂😂😂 You're the smartest man in the room obvi
This team is going to suck again, isn’t it? 😕
Bears are gonna suck for a very long time!!
