I watched several videos on this topic but yours is the best. You know what you're doing so I'm not watching you struggle to disassemble the glove box or remove the filter cover. Also, the lighting and camera angles provide clear visuals to the relevant parts. And last, you manage to keep your hands from blocking our view.
Im using this video to double check the work that was recently done because a local dealership got caught charging for parts but not actually changing the items. So thank you for this.
Cool. I bought the same one. Thanks that was easy. Should maybe mention air flow direction. I just about missed the arrow by utting it in backwards. So airflow is with arrow pointing down.
Thankyou! Thankyou Arty! I'm in Texas and we are in the month of July!🥵 My A/C started blowing real light. I had to Google what the issue was and it brought me to your video. Luckily, this was a quick easy fix! Thank you again!
Really nice job on the video. The camera close-ups were excellent and the narration was spot on. Just one observation that many people don't realize...as a filter gets dirtier it actually filters better, but it's efficiency drops due to reduced air flow. Also dirty filters may emit undesirable odors.
Yup. I just replaced mine because I just started noticing a musty smell. My wife has been complaining about the musty smell in her crv for a few month. I bought her a filter too. I hop this stops the smell. I'll know in a bit on my jeep. Going on a road trip right now.
Just in case anyone wants to know. I went from a 2020, to the new body style 2022. It’s the same way to change, but the filter is only half an inch thick now.
I got a 2021 limited. How do you like the 2022? People told me I'm going to hate it and don't buy it as it's now a Chrysler. But I LOVE MY JEEP. No real problems. My main computer died 50 miles before my warranty was up and they replaced it for free. That was scary.
I'll be doing this in a few weeks. I have a 2020 and I assume this is the same procedure. Jeep dealership is offering a 'sale' on replacing this for $79.99. For $10.00, I'm happy to do this myself.
Also folks you do not have to remove all the junk in the glovebox. The whole glovebox comes off the lower hinge. In my Honda van, I have ro remove everything first as the box stays on and does down and everything in it falls out.. also the little string is on a hydraulic so try to grab it and pull it out and reconnect it before snapping the box back in place. If the box is in place first the string is hard to grab. My 2 cents.
Great video. Or it would be if you had not left out the most important part, which is the fact that the slow closing cord will continuously get wedged in the bracket that is supposedly designed as a guide.
Thanks for the very helpful and clear video. I changed mine cabin air filter in less than 5 mins following your instructions, saving me time and money
Happy to help 🙏👍
Clear, concise explanation and great video angles. How a "how to" video should be. Much appreciated.
Appreciate you 🙏👍
I agree. This is the model video on how-to. Perfect 👌
Thanks Arty! I changed my filter in less than 5 minutes. Great step by step video! Saved me $$!

That was easy...thanks to your step by step instructions. Dealership wanted $100 to change it. 👊
Happy to hear I can help

Great video! Is this replacement filter the identical quality as OEM?
Yea it’s a really Good filter 👍
If you want to Do your own oil change I made a video for that it’s up on the channel
🔥💯 thank you bro it should be the same thing for the Jeep srt ? mines is a 2014 wk2
I believe it should be the same 🙏👍
I’m still confused about the arrows you installed with arrow down but airflow is up. Which way is it?
It was arrow down on the factory Cabin filter and I installed the Bosch with arrow down aswell 👍
That’s nice that Jeep has one my f150 doesn’t
Yessir
0:35 and good luck getting that back in!
Easy 👍
@@artysgarage I fought with it for several minutes and left it out till I get my filter delivered.
Replacing the side tether is a real PITA
What year of jeep is this ?
2017
What years does this work for?
I’m thinking it should be all Jeep wk2 model years but for sure 2017+
@@artysgarage excuse my ignorance but what's a Wk2 model?
You should get SRT
I wish
You should get Trackhawk
@@donemler2831 392 JL maybe
Hi
