Kotal's grand discus move can be flawless blocked into attack sonicfox kept letting it go. In all, fighting kotal your best option is flawless block. Most of his moves can be especially his advancing mid (forward 2).
You can still fatal blow with after his F122 KB, you just have to delay FB input slightly cause for some reason when your OP breakaway immediately, it stalls your inputs like you never pressed it
Rewind’s optimalization, offense and reads are so damn enforceful n intellectual. A great master of offense. Sonicfox has a very technical neutral with sophisticated reads. I just think sonicfox just overcommits alot and makes too many risky reads
Until he brought out his built different joker, rewind was bulling him just a tad. Ngl, suprised we did hear sonic talking up a store like " Don't you ever, disrespect my joker." Or " I can't dis man whiffin." Glad to see them back at it in mk 11 tho.
I think not playing for months even if the game is simple would definitely make you rusty though, and if it had been you losing after not playing for months you would definitely be saying “I don’t play this game anymore”
“Can’t go from the best in the world to straight shit”. But doesn’t this video kinda disprove that point? I mean I know most pros don’t like mk11 but I don’t think the game is THAT easy. Competitive results are more consistent than mkx are they not? I feel like 6:16 is a perfect example. Purposely taking fatal at high health to prevent yourself from dying is some type of game sense imo.
