@@JackOfAllNerdsShow True. I think it’s safe to say in the 1980s, those two musical kids based show really kicked up the quality several notches. Which honestly is a good thing. I think it encouraged me to work harder on my voice because naturally it sucks, but I think that goes for other professions as well. Anyway, it is especially noticeable when you compare with the modern music scene now. IMHO, other than a few rare exceptions, most of the modern music scene is far far worse in quality than before and it is genuinely shocking and heartbreaking.

@@JackOfAllNerdsShow As inspiration for a future look back, how about the PBS TV show “Wishbone” with the dog who read and acted out hero or protagonist characters in famous literature. There is some serious fuel for you, if your book inclined. Moreover, true fact - my own family indirectly dealt with the legal team with that show in unfortunate and ridiculous ways. Basically, to sum it up, my Dad worked for a computer software company called “Wish Bone”. Now get this, there are two other companies with the same brand title - the salad dressing company and the TV series. Yet who decided to sue the company my Dad worked for? It was the TV series!! The salad company had no issue with the company my Dad worked for. Needlessly to say, the company my Dad worked for wasn’t wealthy and powerful enough to fight them back and so it went under and my family went into debt for decades because of it. 😞 It is bittersweet justice learning that after the TV show company screwed my Dad’s software company over, the TV company actually had the balls to go after the salad dressing company. But as they say - the TV show bit off more than it could chew and lost the legal suit, against the salad company. 🤷♀️ Since then my Dad still hates that TV show with a passion and I have mixed feelings about it, but for what it is - it is a charming TV show until you read the original books, and as always the kids show played down most of what is in those books. I also won’t lie it is at times very uncomfortable and disturbing when you see romance scenes with women and the dog…

I remember watching it weekends in syndication. Then once Disney became a free basic cable channel. It was run as part of an anthology series on Disney called Kidscene where it rotated sometimes with episodes of "Kids Of Degrassi Street" which is the only time I saw any episodes of that show outside of PBS.

Haha, yeah, I guess the original Glee, with far less of a plot. Everything on KI was way more innocent than Glee as well. I can honestly say I've never seen The Secret World of Alex Mack or Caitlin's Way. I think they were after my time.
