This is an anonymous post, so I have nothing to gain by saying this. I am a IPMS National award winning modeler and I am happy to say that I can still learn and be motivated by others in this hobby. The method you used for the ejection curtain blows me away. I have spent decades perfecting the painting of these things, and apparently it was all for not.

So many guys here on youtube, who thinking they are modelers, but they produce trash for garbade, but you are a really perfect example of a good modeler, the whole way of making your videos i like, you give informations beside your build, like air pressure, nozzle, what kind of colour, the mixing ratio and always copy of the instruction plan, please stay in this way and make many more videos like this, i would appreciate it so much. I just learned more new detailing idea's and techniques that I'm guessing are completely your original idea's (no matter, I've never seen many of them before) and the result was an out of box cockpit that is BEAUTIFUL my friend. Love the format using instructions super imposed as you build along with what paint mixes, colors, what type of air brush, air pressure etc. Best scale modeling production value on your video's I've seen on a modeling video on you tube. Your skills are fantastic and you have just moved into my top 5 favorite You Tube channels of ALL TIME! Thanks for sharing, I'll never miss one of your video's. Great stuff !!
Excellent techniques shown here. Man that dry brushing on the side controls really made that detail POP!
For over 40 years now, I've always stuggled with those pesky yellow-black alternating colors on the primary and alternating ejection handles and now **BOOM** 30 seconds later and I now have an AMAZING method at my disposal to make them (at least the alternating handle :-)!! I SO appreciate these extraordinary guides and tips! I cannot thank you enough!

Excellent insight as to the build of this kit. I've had the itch to build an F4C in Robin Old's markings representing his lead in the Thai Nguyen Steel Mill raid of March 1968. I now have the kit to do it!

Love the ejection handles technique! Found this because I have a Hasegawa USN F4J kit on the way. Going to use that technique for sure. I also love that you got results this good with kit parts. It's rare to see such a clean result without resin and PE parts. Well done!

When you are replacing the Black and Yellow Ejection Seat "Handles" with Painted Copper Wire, do you have any problems with the Paint "Cracking" or "Flaking" off when you twist it???

Looks really good my friend. I can see why there is so much controversy about Z.M. kits. For $75 in a 1/48 scale I want a PE safety harness and instrument panels. And only ONE decal call out? Sorry not on my wish list. Thank you as always and LOVE your builds and seeing you progress compared to when I first started watching your channel.
Brilliant. When I saw you painting half the wire black and half yellow I suspected it was going to be the pull handles. Didn't know how you were actually going to make them though!

Hi! Super great video! I've a question, why do you use sometimes IPA and sometimes Mr Hobby Leveling Thinner for the same paint type (Acrylics) ?

As always, I'm blown away with your work, and always learn something new. But could you explain the "stretched sprue?" Are you heating then stretching or what?
You need a heat source (lighter etc.) attach one end of the sprue to something like a vice, carefully heat and pull with your other hand. Heat and stretch as you go. That's the way I've done it, sure there are other ways
working with epoxy like its puff pastry, good job :D

What gauge of copper wire did you use for the ejection seat handles? Your way is brilliant and I'll be doing that method on my Hornet and Phantom!

Scale-a-ton What a great idea for making the yellow and black ejection handles. They look better than even the PE ones! Do you know what size or gauge of wire you used for them? Keep up the great work. You are a very talented and awe-inspiring modeler.
Thanks a lot! Mouse, speaker and headphone cables are good source for gathering various diameter copper wires. I take and use one of that looks right. Don't know sizes

Thank you! Yes that's what comes with the kit. Zoukei-mura sells some details like "DLC" for their kits.

for the instrument pannel what was the exact paint?
Amazing attention to detail! One thing that puzzles me is the small amount of glue you use. It doesn't look like enough to hold things together, but it obviously works. What kind of adhesive it that? A CA glue?

It's cheaper than thinners and works with Tamiya and Gunze acyrlics perfectly. If you don't build 20+ models per year like me, go with original thinners.
