    things he got wrong: halt actually had a specific hallway in floor 1 before the mines update which got revamped to another straight line but a dining room and giggle only appears on the roof. also i think they should've had maybe one more entity because 3 entities combined with new features about the others is enough i think

      Fun fact, from personal experience giggles CAN spawn on walls but will break when doing so, meaning he can’t move anywhere.
      I think he still reacts to flashing or “sniping” him, I didn’t check that though so I could be wrong.

      seek is technically a new entity on door 200 because its a completely new form with new mechanics just technically not a new entity

The seek chase is easy, the library is easy, the second seek chase is even easier, and the final segment at door 100 is just an easier library. The only hard part is the greenhouse, but that’s about it.

    +) Large rooms serve nothing for the gameplay but for the exploration, it does not slow your gameplay down at all
    +) "If you ask what is you favourite part about floor 2?" is not a good example, of course nobody will say the generator or large rooms because there are more noticeable things such as the chases, the musics, etc
    +) Halt always had the same layouts even in floor 1 when it released idk what were you talking about ( they updated it )
    +) Figure always appears in the mines, it's not random, figure is acting the same in floor 1 because they updated its A.I
    +) There are so many dark rooms, it forces you to loot more, so you will notice that there are many glowsticks laying on almost every rooms, so if you don't use the light sources which the game gives you, that's your fault
    +) You are dissapointed because there's lack of new entities but when you think about it, adding more entities is kinda bad for the game, when you add too much or too less entities the gameplay will either change too much or not even change at all, so instead of just adding new entities, they actually upgraded the old entities beside adding new ones, that's a good way to balance the gameplay
    +) Let's be real giggle is a common entity which can appear almost every rooms except boss rooms and snare only appears in the greenhouse, giggle has more features than snare: you can stun it, it can make noise so you know it in the room
    +) Guilding Light is not slow, it's too fast so you can't keep up with it but I do agree that they need to make it more obvious

      the large rooms get really tedious and don't award you for exploring them, you can debate that they give you glowsticks and bandages, but you can just find those in smaller and lenier rooms, and the dark rooms also get tedious to the point where it just doesn't add to the gameplay anymore, the guiding light is missleading, and most of the time you don't have to worry about the new entities the only one i can see you having some decent amount of trouble on is giggles those gloombats are not that big of a threat since through the majority of the game you aren't gonna find a light source. so again they added little to nothing in terms of entities, most of the upgrades are not really useful, rush comes from the front, he's still not a threat.

      @@Jolt-G13T I didn't say you had to explore but you can rush through them unless it was a generator room (dupe rooms are easy and not slow you that much), what i meant is it would be cool for the ones who want to do that, dark rooms have been just the same since released tbh, the guilding light texts are fixed and had more useful advice now but as I said I agree that they need to fix the guilding light in the sewer section or make them more obvious to players, the new entities add a little new mechanic but they work really well with the old ones, you can see many clips that they team on players, the upgrades are cool, rush is still rush but hide acts differently now, eyes can teleport, screech can spawn almost everywhere. If players still want new entities, i think they will probably update the mines like the hotel+ and fix some bugs soon

    Yes, we DID have this problem in floor 1. When I the game first released it was hard as hell and a bunch of people were complaining. But now after we've beaten it and played it a bunch it's easy. I beat the game once after so many play throughs and instantly my next run I made it back to door 200.

      I absolutely LOVE it but i think door 150 is pretty hard or long for everyone or its just the game just released and we all have a skill issue at door 150 and also on the 2nd seek chase with the guiding light is hard, thats my only 2 problems.

    I'm actually happy doors floor 2 is actually difficult, I can beat doors on almost every run and I have A-1000, the hunt, hotel hell, survival the Jeff the killer badges, and it's nice to have something that isn't some werid challenge that's actually somewhat challenging

    I understand other people might find this hard but me personally I played it for 1-2 hours after release then went to sleep, woke up and beat it the next day with a friend, and I haven't played doors for months, didnt even check the modifiers update either, I have some things to say about this video aswell
    - The issue about the lights almost Always being out is a logical thing, you're literally in the mines, not to mention this is a SEQUEL which has all the reasons to be harder than its prequel if it needs to be (Explains why you NEED to have the skill to have beaten floor 1 in order to get to the mines..)
    -The grumble part isn't even that bad either, it's moreso about learning where they come from which is REALLY visible through the game, look up for the 2 holes across each nest then listening for the beacons can't be that hard..not to mention grumbles make your screen shake like crazy when they're close
    -There is no issue with there being barely any new entities either, take FNAF as an example, the first game had 4 characters and the second game had the same exact characters, just different variants of them along with maybe 1 or 2 new characters, this is exactly what doors did, added some new entities, added new mechanics and new environments to the existing enemies
    -Not to mention if you're complaining there's a LOT going on and that it's TOO hard to play, why are you asking for more new entities in the first place? More entities means more learning, more learning always means harder gameplay for a game like doors, so I don't exactly get what's wrong with that
    -The guiding light is completely fine, what really gets the player dead is them panicking, you have just enough time to look around for the right way in the seek chase, however in the minecart part I can definitely agree the RNG on the wooden boards can get tricky
    - Halt has always had his own room even for floor 1, and he is NOT guaranteed to appear unlike in floor 1
    These are the main things I disagree about this video, I might've missed some points but still I don't get the big hate doors floor 2 is getting

    I feel like the bulklight should make the Grumbles turn around because Giggles don't like the light and so should the Grumbles but it would be the bigger light instead

    Sometimes I feel like LSPLASH went to a beehive in real life and saw worker bees and the queen bee. This probably caused the developer to have an idea of floor 2, this caused him and Redibles to make the Grumble cutscene with 4 patrol grumbles which resemble to worker bees. Later on in the end, we see the Grumble, but with 8 tentacles instead of 4-5 and has a scar on the forehead. That’s how it resembled a queen bee, so it was named the Alpha Grumble.

    My only issues with floor 2 are Grumble and Screech honestly. Screech specifically because the piece of s- can appear basically everywhere, like he appears in freaking door 101, and he got me killed the first time I encountered Grumble without me having an option to survive. Y'know the hall before you get to the room with the machine and the metal door is closing? Screech appeared there in the inicial Grumble chase and hit me, which didn't let me get to the door before the door closed, so I just died to Grumble.

    A lot of people look at the tracks during the seek chase to find their next turn. I used to do this too, but this is a bad idea. Look at guiding light instead of the rail tracks, this made it 50x easier for me.

    one time i was casually playing and i got a dark room with giggle somewhere, no glowsticks, generator room, eyes, and gloombats or whatever theyre called were there. hell. absolute hell. did i also mention it had the FLAMMABLE THING TOO- I HAD TO LEAVE THE ROOM SO MANY TIMES SO I DIDNT SUFFOCATE

    the grumbles are really annoying. it always stays on the path that you need to go and keeps circling it. then you say to yourself "man, i'm done waiting, i'm gonna go for it" than get 2 tapped instantly. i'm not exactly educated in the grumble AI, but they should make it so if a grumble stays in the same path 2 or 3 times, they move to a different one. (as long as there are no grumbles in the way)

    I got into Pressure but never doors and floor two disappointed me so much. Pressure was fast paced and had various rooms and layouts while floor two felt all the same. Horror games need to learn dark atmosphere isn’t scary it’s just annoying if not done right

      I disagree, floor 2 is waaay more different, and overall I'd say an improvement, atleast in the patch, release date I agree, with the dark areas, idrc cuz yeah doors is horror, but it's also adventure, especially this floor, so it doesn't rely much on horror like pressure. Doors floor two ain't rely that bad as people make it out to be imo.

      Whether you prefer DOORS or Pressure is really confusing. Like I used to prefer DOORS, then I played and liked Pressure more, and then floor 2 released and I preferred DOORS. It really just is different for everyone. In my case I just follow where the new content is lol.

    I don’t want to be all negative but the update really wasn’t that hard, and it also served its purpose as to challenge the people who have already completed floor 1. Also also nearly all of the difficulty of the floor is in the first half, and personally I haven’t died past grumble.

    once you know how to counter everything it gets pretty easy, after the nerf i beat it 3rd try. I like the grumble boss fight way better than the library it’s so fun just to crawl through the tunnels being on edge that a grumble can just show up at any time, Halt is annoying he has showed up every run killing me a couple times cause due to getting stuck on various edges and corners. I do wish you could get crucifixes easier i’ve never seen one in jeff’s shop and only 1 in a shears crate, i don’t like the new hide mechanic it kinda destroys ambushes whole thing along with the generators, before we had lockpicks for locked doors, couldn’t we at least get something like a portable generator or something ?

    The lighting is not a big issue, the game gives you glowsticks in almost every room and they provide a lot of light, if you don't use them, that's kinda on you. Generator rooms aren't that annoying imo and they force you into confrontations with entities like Eyes, Giggle, etc, otherwise they'd be complete non-threats. About the entities, despite there only being 3 new entities, Eyes and Hide got new abilities that make up for the lack of new entities. I do agree with most of the complaints about door 150 though, it needs some huge nerfs.

    I can’t play doors floor 2 bc I haven’t beat floor 1. But in my opinion, I think doors floor 2 should give you at least 3 revives for free bc it just seems to long not to have some free revives.

    I think something that might help with the grumble chase would be smaller generators that can recharge light sources. There would need to be ways to make it less OP, sure, but if you would be able to recharge your flashlight from 0% to 45% atleast it would make dealing with them a bit more easy. Maybe even recharge light sources whenever you finish the machines.

    21:22 Actually, the Grumble Nest is a lot easier to memorize the anchor locations than you’d think. It only took me a few tries and I already have a general idea of all of the paths

    I feel like dark rooms with a generator should turn the lights on as long as the Gloombats, Rush, or Ambush doesn't knock them out.

    So basically this guy shoulda played the day 1 floors 2 where they threw a bunch of stuff at you including the snares on the ground and made every room feel like a threat, people were complaining that it was to hard so they nerf it, also obviously nobody will like the key or generator rooms it’s just an obstacle, what I do agree with is the generator rooms are sometimes way too big.

    I decided to play a round of the hotel of Doors to see if they really did upgrade the hotel, and once I made it to the elevator, I had to wait around 3 minutes and the mines still didn't fully load in

    One of the main reasons grumbles camp is bc if light if u throw a glow stick they are attracted to light so if they see then they wil camp
    + when u stopped using glow sticks jn the nest a grumble has never camped every again

    I wish they added a deaf mode like Pressure. It kinda sucks for ppl without headphones trying to do 150. (I have some, but I tested it, and it's nigh impossible to tell where the 4th beacon is.)

    Honestly I never thought doors was scary nor hard. If you want to play a good Roblox horror game. You have the mimic but if that’s too scary then you can play pressure which literally has a setting to turn off some jump scares. Or if it’s still scary then piggy is the way to go.

    I think a difficult part of floor 2 was the minecart chase. I have to run my computer on low graphics quality, so the blue lights don’t stand out as much and i have a lot less time to react. I with the light was further away so I had more time.

    i played pressure for the first time today, i really like the different puzzles for normal rooms. Meanwhile doors has 2 key/fuse find book/terminal/valve. I’m do think pressure is the better game here, giving the bigger dev team. i get that if lspash added more puzzles it wouldn’t be out by now but yknow maybe floor 3 would have more puzzling

    my problem with the game are the grumbles cause last time i played it I WAS TRAPPED CAUSE THE GRUMBLES TOOK THEIR SWEET TIME PICKING WHICH PATH TO PICK WHEN THEY PICK THE SAME PATH EVERYTIME AND ANOTHER GRUMBLES APPEARS and how did i survive well I DIDN'T CAUSE THEY GOT SHORT MEMORY AND KEEP CHECKING THE SAME SPOTS I WAS HIDING IN

    I think the best fix for the guiding light in the minecart section is for there to be less guiding light because it feels like the light is everywhere

    The lag has gotten me killed nearly forty times now, and it only happens during the seek chase. I either teleport and fall into a gap or I get teleported back and seek catches me. My internet is fine.

    16:40 just to point out I think they kind of balanced it if you are going into the mines without buying anything since if you get shears I'm pretty sure your first box you open will 100% of the time will be a Big flashlight which i think balances the rarity of getting any of the flashlights randomly as in the Mines it priorities getting loot if you want to make your run easier so even though it takes time to look through a lot of doors/lockers for loot you will get a way better run with the items you get sort of separating the different aesthetics in the mines and the hotel of how your supposed to play each floor

    Watching you play I think you just ignore most of the light sources in lockers that are plainly obvious (seriously you skipped multiple glow sticks which are easily the best light source added because of how common they are and all other stats) also the halt got more interesting with the update (halt is meant to be boring and stop speed runs) also just loot rooms fully and you’re not gonna have problems with anything but the chases and the door 150 grumble.

    the thing is i would be playing it but i physically cannot because when i try to get in my device simply does not let me, i may get in a few times but still lsplash needs to add a performance mode for mobile

    They need to nerf 150 because it takes so long to get out of there. And the grumbles like sometimes they just camp my hiding room and come there back and forth like 7 times, and same goes for the anchors. If you go out of your way because it's been 30 mins, 2 of them will surround you, and you just died, wasting like an hour of your life doing nothing.
    Also, door 195 seek chase during like the pipes sequences suck , because it's hard to know where the light is telling us to go. They need to make it slower during that part.
    Also, there is a bug on mobile where when you press the jump button, you just don't jump, so you gotta spam the button to ensure you will jump because otherwise your character will just commit life off.

    This is the problem it’s not meant to be an easy walkthrough you didn’t wait so long to beat it first try the point is it’s meant to be a challenge floor1 ppl where saying it’s not challenging enough and now ppl say floor 2 should be easier like grumble I struggled I got good eventually now I can get to as far as anchor c fast that’s as far as I’ve gotten but at least it’s a challenge I enjoy I don’t really wanna beat it too fast I wound not be angry if I died at door 200 and btw they fixed entity stacking

    I find it weird how Roblox is supposed to be for a 14 year old audience, but many adults are struggling, so you can only imagine how most kids are doing with the mines, if the majority is unable to beat it, there's a real problem, hardcore fans are too blind to see it

    Honestly I don’t know why people are complaining about floor 2. I would have rather have them complain about something that’s actually way too hard and annoying. Most of the rooms in floor 2 become easy after you have had many practice. In fact it’s a lot like hotel+. Yeah it was hard at first, but after practice you can almost beat it every time. In my opinion, this was a really good update. I do hope they continue making new floors with new mechanics.

    3:08 the part about load times im so on board with!! Even in my favourite game of all time Pressure it takes 16 years to load and i never have time to use the shop lol.
    apart from that i dont agree with you (the guiding lights are piss annoying tho) but i love ya ❤️❤️

    the guiding lights don't suck, your reaction time and sight sucks. also, it was clear where you go, and the lights being only a few.... you are in the MINES, a place where it's dark...

    The biggest problem to me with floor 2 it’s not even in floor 2 it’s how the revamped many of the entities. Eyes moves and now shows up more and screech does two because now their ai idk what to call it is made for the mines and not for the hotel anymore so it messed the hotel where some of the most annoying entities show up more that they should. Also the update broke figure because he’s made for the mines now because everywhere he spawns in the mines is pretty open it’s ai works with that but now in the hotel in the cramped library he gets stuck on all the book shelves and other stuff to.

      EVERY TIME I get to door 100 (hotel) figure always glitches, for example he gets stuck in the same place, which either gives you a free win or basically kills you if he's next to a switch. Also I accidentally used my crucifix on him through the wall

    I think that the game after the nerf got way too easy because before there was like eyes with 2 giggles with rush before the nerf and now its like rush every like 10 rooms and a giggle every 14 rooms and before it was like every 3-4 rooms a entity spawned but not it is too easy i think they should buff a little bit the spawn rate before 150 and then after 150 it is almost as hard as the before the nerf, i think thats the way to keep the game balanced because it is literally floor 1 dificulty but like 3% harder

    the reason floor 2 is harder than floor 1 is because you're supposed to play floor 2 after beating floor 1 with all the items from that part. imagine beating floor 2 with herb of viridis, crucifix, and a buncha meds

    I think they should just up the rate of spawn for rush and eyes, when they nerfed everything they nerfed too much, also halt in floor 1 was always a room that was only for halt, now its more clear in floor 1 and floor 2, so idk why you complaining about with halt

    i beat floor 2 after beating door 150 for the first time, thats the only thing that i really dont like about this floor. its really cool and all but the grumbles keep camping your spot. i can beat door 150 now but it just takes aaaaaaaaaageeeeeesssssssssssss (between 20-40 minutes)

    Doors floor 2 is not bad. Yes it has some flaws, but it is overall a big improvement over floor 1. But just remember that these are peoples’ opinions, and are mostly subjective, so you can debate but no one can be wrong.

      yeah it is definitely not an improvement. That is an outright dishonest lie. The problems with floor two isnt its difficulty but rather just how boring it is compared to floor one.
      Ill list all the problems with floor two
      -endless screech spawns. Screech is regarded as being the most annoying entity since even when you counter it via looking at it, the game will still punish you via its annoying ass sound effect. And screech will spawn in nearly every room ALL THE TIME. Its not even hard its just tedious.
      -puzzles and level designs. Overall the "puzzle" that involves finding multiple fuses for the generators is just tedious and is just a walking egghunt simulator. Especially when these rooms are comboed with dark rooms. These rooms are essentially a copy and paste of the key rooms on floor one. The difference between them is the fact that once you find the key on floor one you immediately get gratification since you know you can progresss. However finding all fuses just takes far to long compared to keys.
      -no new mechanics. Seriously, this floor literally has nothing interesting going on with it. The only new "mechanic" is the minecarts that can push down boarded areas. And that hardly adds to the game.
      -boring entities. overall the new entities (giggle, gloombat, grumble) are just non interesting and dont really provide any interesting gimmicks besides the old "avoid me" mechanic. Gloombats are probably the least interesting since all it does for the game is hinder your use of light sources.
      -bad boss floors. On floor one there is the signature door 50 and 100. both are very fun and involve traversing around the room solving little puzzles and being careful. Compared to floor 2, door 150 is garbage. Its just a tedious room that involves waiting for the grumbles to pass by. The last boss door with seek is definitely more fun than door 150 but its still not very interesting compared to floor 1. Its just a obby to find multiple valves with no unique mechanics or gimmicks other then "Time is running out!!!"

      -if floor two is boring, then floor one is even more boring. I mean, you can even go back and play it and see for yourself. Floor 2 adds many new mechanics and even if the game is still boring, it is at least less boring than floor 1, which is an improvement
      -screech is somewhat annoying, but not tedious. it takes one second at most. I do still agree with you a little bit in this regard though
      -there were no “puzzles” on floor 1 (except the painting which imo was worse) but yeah, the generator kind of sucks. it’s still like the keys on floor 1 though, and don’t take up much more time than them. I do wish we got more creative/abundant minecart puzzles, as those are actually kind of fun the first few times. I think there should just be more room types in general to help solve this issue.
      -yeah, the bosses are one of the major complaints from me. compared to the figure boss battles, this is pretty simple and kind of boring. however, the grumbles don’t take nearly as long as people say it takes. I do think that the grumbles are a departure from the creative and original figure boss fights whereas the grumbles are just a typical avoid the monster and do random tasks boss fight. the seek boss battle is also falls flat in the same way. the cool factor is definitely a lot higher in both of these boss battles though

      Obviously people have opinions about games. But to say everything involving game design is simply based on ones preferences is simply not true. Bad game design is a thing and its why some games flop.
      In your first point you dont give any actual examples. Floor 2 is just a complete copy and paste of floor 1 in terms of mechanics. Perhaps even less mechanics.
      Yes screech is very easy to counter. However the point in trying to drive is that the majority of the gameplay is looking out for the most tedious and annoyingly bad designed entity (screech)
      When i say "puzzles" thats just a shorthand term for the small lever rooms or painting rooms or key rooms. These are small detours the game provides. They arent that long and are simple.
      Howver floor 2 only has a single "puzzle" room which leads to a lot of repetition. This room being the generator room. These rooms are just a copy and paste of keyrooms and are often always accompanied by the not-fun-entites of floor 2 such as giggle, gloombats, screech. The problem is they didnt even try to add anything knew for puzzles in floor 2.
      Given the fact Lsplash had TWO YEARS and over 50 game testers. This is horrible. You can tell the game testers were simply there to give bug feed back rather than gameplay feed back. Its also very obvious the gameplay was an after thought and they only focused on the aesthetics and looks of the floor (which are good)

    im gonna be honest the generator is too long for a mechanic with no threats and even when its a dark room with gloom bats i want to oof myself cause I CANT SEE THE LIGHTBULBS and if i try to see with a flash light THEY ARE GONNA ATTACK ME DEALING 69 DAMAGE PER SECONDS also i have to add halt is now one of my favorite enemies now and i agree the grumble is so BORING can the boss fights in floor 3 PLEASE NOT ADD A HIDE AND SEEK FIGHT

    Some of your points are good but I think I’m just playing this game differently because everyone’s saying the same shit that I don’t believe
    I love the generator rooms
    They’re a nice break
    And the only entities, 3 not including firedamp, are pretty cool and I’m fine with the lack of new entities because of the differences they give
    The long rooms are nice
    The chases w/ guiding light.. GL only messes me up in the sewer chase. That’s the only thing I’m annoyed at and I don’t even think I’m validated to feel this way because what if that was intended?
    The tension makes you want to keep running but you need to stop to look a little
    Minecart crouch-fork bullshitting is weird but that’s a very easy fix
    Glowsticks are VERY common if you look for them and I like looking for stuff. This is why I like the light situation and generator rooms.
    150 can be frustrating (btw I think there’s a max of 4 grumbles sometimes)
    There’s no need for lights. Dunno if I’m just getting lucky with not running into the queen but still, you can see well into the darkness the particles and tentacles of any grumble in front or behind you.
    They’re not faster than you
    If they corner you tough luck that’s never happened to me
    I’m able to do that room in an average of like 8 minutes
    The dread I feel after 150 when I’m approaching the sewer chase is amazing to me. It’s like some sort of pressure feeling
    That perfectly pairs up with the light situation too. The scares may be very easy and quick in getting used to, but this is still a horror game. It’s meant to make you feel hopeless.
    Beating the game isn’t easy.
    It is a test of concentration.
    A test of persistence.
    A test of skill.
    You can’t be mad at a game for being fairly hard.
