Worst thing that happened to this team was the goddamn Monforts. The bottom line is their only concern, they don't care about the fans or the product in the field. I'll never watch another game until Monfort is gone.

the issue with this organization is that no pitchers can succeed at that altitude. pitches have less movement, less break and balls carry way further. so it will always be extremely difficult to field a winning product at Coors Field.
I was lucky enough to be at the home opener in 93 vs the Expos and the Coors Field opener in 95 vs the Mets… this is a great video, forgot how exciting it all was in the beginning.. I still never gave up my lifelong love for the Dodgers 😂
Can't recall how many games I went to....... But 3 standout. The night Jeff Cirillo hit 3 homers and hit the top of the centerfield fence for a ground rule double almost hitting 4 out. Pedro Martinez playing for the Dodgers at the time, taking a no hitter into the 8th inning before Helton got a hit off him to break up the no-no. And almost getting hit by a Mike Lowell homerun. I heard the crack of the bat, was tracking the ball then lost it. Ball hit the seat right next to me putting a huge dent in it. The first game at Coors when Bichette hit the homer to win the game. Burks taking Eckersley deep to, I can't recall, either tie the game or win it for Colorado. Blake Street Bombers were fun to watch. If only Colorado had the pitching to go along with it.... Top 5 as a club hitting the ball, almost dead to last a as club pitching. Don Baylor was our best manager as far as I'm concerned. It all started to fall about after the Blake Street Bombers were all traded. Then Walker was traded, EY traded, Holliday traded, Gonzales traded, Story allowed to become a FA, and the trade of Arenado for who? who? & who? It won't get better till the club is sold to different owners.
