    For what you paid it should not have many of those issues! Especially the losing material.. Me personally I would return it to them and find something better

    one thing you better silicone every mating crack on the windshield motor. water will get into that motor if not done and totally screw it up.

    Just loosen the pipe union on the spray bar and adjust the bar until it the spray is more centered, then tighten the union of course. You can also turn the spray bar with a pipe wrench a little to the right or left to get the water pointing correctly.

    Jack the company should get with the prospector that was the equipment before manufacturing a unit for the general public. Where is there R&D. Some of the issues that you pointed out is just poor workmanship. You have some great ideals on the the modification and some issues. Keep up the good work may some day we will meet in the feild.

    All the more, it is good to buy one of these so you can back engineer it and you have it as a basic model to see what can be added on and keep all the gadgets on it that work well.

    Looks like it would sit over the the tub to catch the water, rubber door sweeps for feed angle adj., and a sluice under to catch spillage, oh and slots for mat adj., lastly heat for a pvc pipe trowel with endcap to clean nugget trap.

    Apparently I watached this once before. I would like to say recently I have been thinking about one of these but thanks to your review and video I won't be buying one of these. I have the little trommel on top of a gold cube and hence my comments on silicon on the elec motor. My original motor rusted up immediately but they sent me a new one that already had silicone on it. I like your pro's and con's reviews on equipment.

    • @GoldFeverAdventures
      @GoldFeverAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The trommels on the cube are gold fox and that’s a good Trommel.
      The gold claimer has a larger one that is good. But this smaller one was never tested before selling them.
      I have talked to the manufacturer and was going to send me out some repairs but never did. They even raised their prices. I just hope they fixed their problems.
      Thanks

    Awesome look at it, like to see a vid on the Javelina now too. I would be pretty disappointed. Watching it work was a bit sad, with water and material everywhere. Why not a moving guide for the material? or just a proper shoot to distribute it on sluice, having it oscilate was just the worst visually. Now, we all know gold is heavy, so like a rocker box does the stuff that sloshed out matter? My answer, for $1,500 is YES! Cheers guys

    Ha ha ha maybe they were thinking they were building a deck for you as well ha ha ha. Also remove bar that says your sluice so that it stays into place and limits water and material loss.

    Great review, thank you. I'd like to hear your opinion of the Dream Mat compared to the other products you have there. I exclusively use Dream Mat in my concentrates sluice and I'm happy with the resulys but I've never tried anything else. I have hundreds of tonnes of dryblower tailings that I'd like to put through a wet plant but like you I'm in the desert.

    Hook the extension to the red bar UNDER the moving tray... that is as wide as it moves back n forth that doesn't move but covers the width. And did the welds fail at the top of ur feed area where its rattling. That thing sure has room to make it how u want and need it cus it needs a bunch of little tweaks

    • @GoldFeverAdventures

  • @rebelarcher5450
    @rebelarcher5450 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    wow , what a interesting little machine , folding up a thin piece of aluminium shouldnt be too hard to build an extension on the sluice , longer you make make the sluice the better the capture , i personally would go with dream mat or miners moss in the sluice and the deep vee matting in an extension so can see anything that is travelling down past the front mat easily. drill a second hole through the walls at the bottom of the sluice run to double bolt an extension on so it is sturdy . i think a small spray bar at the top / front end of the hopper would be better for water to send the dirt through

    Hope u had a good return policiy on this thing .. -- all that fancy gadgetry and mechanism to lose some input below the process .. ??? some serious flaw in design of this thing ! amateur hour .. at production line (some guy's garage) the mantry is ' ship it ' ' ship it !! ' ...

    You got gold that the drywasher missed - but how much would you have to drywash and carry the tailings home to pay for either model? Maybe if you were working in a river or near a river where you could pump water to it.... What do you think?

    What are the end results? Did you send this unit back to Apache Junction Arizona or did you drive it over to the guy? I’ve been pissed for what you paid for it. No Flippin way. Would I have taken that thing and you’re talking about modifying it you didn’t buy another job did youJesus, you shouldn’t even have to worry about anything for what he charges for the stupid things. I think I would call Gold Fox up and have them make you a bigger one. I’m sure Kelly could do that.

    im sure it wasnt cheap , anf d for the amount of flaws (bearing on trap area) -- and actually losing material before it even processed .. wow .. that sucks .. your not supposed to have to 'join the design team' to fix problems .. this is one of those companies that yells 'shipp it ' all day long .. and corners are cut to get it out the door rush job style .. obviously not much testing .. how can u ship a machine that actually dumps material out on the ground before it even hits the sluice ???!?!??!
