The WSL has to improve the stale format that did work but it’s not really adequate for the amount of talent there is today . Apply for an OBE nominations for Rabbit

I grew up one beach away from North Narrabeen , what a hotbed of talent . Soooo many good surfers from the early days till now . Kneeboarders as well . I think it's fair to say that between Narra and Snapper....... more good surfers from those two beaches than anywhere else on the planet . The world champions from Narrabeen alone is amazing , not to mention the underground guys . So happy to live in a place where you can still surf by yourself or a couple of mates . Very similar to North actually but instead of Collaroy at the southern end......a point that gets so perfect , it reminds me of that spot in Mexico . Any guesses ?
Me and my old mate Jamie Bristow used to get the train to Murwillumbah and hitch to the Goldy for the stubbies contest first time we were 15 or 16 1977 or 78 no Money from Newy good times.
QLD Titles was epic trips. In the 80s Northern Rivers was part of the QLD comp. So 1 round on the Goldie, 1 round on the Sunny Coast and 1 round at Byron to Ballina. Oh yeah I remember Deaney surfing in the Over 28 "seniors".

Used to go to Fingal in a tent on the holidays in the sixties tweed and Coolangatta were awesome in the sixties

Yep I remember Rabbit .. he used to Go fast almost as though he was using Go Fast?
