Anji is his adopted brother. They aren't blood related but extremely close. Anji is the son of his stepfather from other woman. His stepfather left Anji to Hazel's(EZ Mil's mother) care, so Hazel adopted Anji and treat him as her own son. Ez's family strong ties is remarkable.
This album is really unique. Some gatekeepers didn't like how eccentric EZ produced his album. I like variety and EZ being a genre-crosser-hybrid- artist made me realized how enjoyable it is to listen to his classic creation.I agree with your constructive mention on the song Far Away from Home, the live version is actually better.
EZ lived in Dubai with his family when he was 5. I heard that he learned to speak some Arabic. He went back to Dubai 2 -3 years ago for performed there as part of a Filipino artists concert tour. He did a cover of Lose Yourself during that concert on TH-cam.

It was a true story about his step dad where Ez revealed the domestic violence and how the step dad cheated on his mom and abandoned them, leaving them in financial distress. It’s the reason why Ez at a young age realized he needed to be the man of the house and find a way to help his mom provide for the family. It’s really unfortunate it’s no longer available because it was an amazing track, but the stepdad did threaten to sue because his name was the original title. It showed how Ez got into a dark place of hate for that man and how he used music as an outlet for the anger instead of violence.

It’s even more impressive to know he wrote and produced this entire body of work, including his other records. You should also check out his sister Raynn.
