Heads up everyone, I have one under one year old. It has developed premature rust (with their own cover too) all over the firebox door for starters. Next the hinges inside the barrel itself are so weak and do not tolerate the heat they have actually warped and the grills do not seat even meaning they tip and I have lost food and tried to bend back into shape. Lastly the chimney stack bolts are badly rusted and the flu control sticks. Think I could get something of good quality for almost a $1000? Forget it, the lousy company support is so bad and uncooperative I was forced to file a report with the BBB. Stay away. Get yourself a proven and quality Pit Barrel that is reasonably priced and performs like a true champion. I am not wrong about this.
