The Take me Home and Midnight Memories era were my favorites. Even though the boys were super overworked, I still loved that every second.

the tension between watching this nostalgic video and harry calling their hiatus permanent
I feel like when the hiatus was agreed Harry always knew it was permanent for him. Because to some extent Niall, Liam and Louis have all acted like they’re on hiatus. Especially Liam, it’s like he has one foot in ‘one direction’ and the other in his solo career. Maybe that’s why he was the last to put out his debut solo single. Directioners are in denial and I don’t blame them, but Harry left the band in 2016.
@@LB-ih7hn in 2015 niall tweeted and said 'there is no solo projects if no one ever lied to me.'and also said 'i am going to a holiday, not solo we are coming back' and I'm pretty sure Liam and Louis were thinking the same thing cuz it was what they decide but harrys solo carrier is literally started to planning after 2014 and it was obvious that he will go solo but directioners still saying that Louis promised or louis' twitter bio like stfu louis is not the one who left the group... anyways stream walls

You’re right though, Louis didn’t lie, he believed what he was saying about the hiatus. Do you remember ‘weed gate’, when Liam came out to defend Zouis and apologise on their behalf? At the time, the press were saying that a source close to Harry said he condemned their behaviour. I think at least one solo career was being mapped out even then.
Anyways, this is why Niall, Liam and Louis never distanced themselves from talking about the band, they’re still legit on hiatus. Someone should tell them that they’re on their own now. It’ll be hard for ‘directioners’ to continue ignoring this... but I wish Harry the best of luck in his solo career (even though he doesn’t really need luck).
@@LB-ih7hn I do believe a successful young band splitting up was inevitable .....music moguls are always shark like on the lookout for a ready made artist with a guaranteed fanbase of millions....they spew sweet life thingys with a boatload of upgrade perks. Not forgetting they all were solo artist put together to form the band. Zayn just happened to get sucked in and bit first. After that? No way Harry's gonna hang around as they were all over him. They probably told him its best to not remind peeps he was ever in a boyband.
@@belle1109 Yes, inevitably a boy band breaks up. Don’t get me wrong, after they put out 5 albums and completed 4 world tours in five years, they obviously needed a break. But in this case, the ‘hiatus’ appears to have been true for three members of the band and for that reason it’s so great that ‘directioners’ still support them. Personally, I’m not bothered either way because I enjoy their solo music. But I’m just saying it like it appears to me.

Dude same. I honestly fell off after this era but still loved them going forward, just wasn’t nearly as intensely in the fandom as I was for the first 2 albums. But I love reliving the eras so much!

everyone always talks about how tired they must've been from all the work they did but that actually sounds like so much fricken fun. I would kill to have a life like that. They were definitely overworked, but honestly I would not mind
im sure they didnt mind bc they probably thought that was normal in the industry, and even if they didnt realize back then and were having fun, its still wrong
yeah I see where you're coming from, like being able to tour around the world, perform, meet millions of ppl and do what you love is a dream, and smth a lot of ppl don't get the opportunity to do. But that still doesn't take away from the fact that they were constantly pushed to keep doing world tours, and keep writing albums while on tour. I can't imagine how exhausting that was. And I think since they had a short period of time to write the albums, they didn't really have time to just sit and reflect on stuff. They had to keep moving forward onto the next thing and the next thing. But then again, they have said there were aspects that they enjoyed.
Starting people’s careers, changing hair styles, raising Harry Styles. 😂😂
