Not sure if you’ve started yet or not, but if your school requires you to wear Dinkles, (marching dress shoes) PLEASE get insoles and some kind of mole skin padding. Those shoes are flat, they give you blisters if you’re not wearing good socks, and they’re very hot. Under your uniform wear thin, breathable clothes but preferably not something so thin that if you sweat a lot it becomes see through, because you will sweat tons. For band camp, you might want to pack a small bag with items such as: -Sunscreen, SPF 60 or higher -Chapstick, preferably with SPF -Sunglasses if you’re allowed to have them -Deodorant, I prefer spray -If you want flavored water(please don’t have flavored water if you play a wind instrument it will get gross fast) put some kind of drink packets with electrolytes like propel or liquid IV -Bug spray -A pencil Before camp each day try to drink around 40 oz of water an hour beforehand, during camp try to drink as much as you can, and drink plenty of water that night. Don’t wait until you’re super thirsty to drink water, that’s how you get dehydrated. Also, if you feel overheated afterward and can’t cool off, you’re not drinking enough water during camp,so try to drink more I usually go through about three or four 16oz water bottles a day, don’t be afraid to drink too much, you’ll know if you drink too much. If you’re worried about having to go to the bathroom, usually you’ll get bathroom breaks Sorry for the book of a comment, and good luck with marching! It’s a great experience once you get into it. The beginning is chaos but once you start marching more often, have competitions, play at games and in parades, you’ll really enjoy it and also make some good friends Also, don’t date someone in band. If you break up, you have to see them EVERY SINGLE TIME you practice. Not fun
yay the score and sound was finally uploaded, I love this song.
This is a REALLY well done arrangement!
Nice song this song looks amazing and it sounds even better too. Do you have any tips on preparing for marching band?
