You show a picture of Barronstrand Street with Cody's shoe shop on the corner. In my time (mid 50's), Chambers & Halley had their offices above Cody's. I did my apprentice years there (Accounting) and one day with some fool acting going on, I went partially through the 2nd floor window. The street outside was littered with glass. No injuries to anyone fortunately. When Eddie Halley came in the next morning, he had some choice words to say about it:).

My great uncle had the pub in ballybricken in the 70s 80s it was called the bullpost his name is Joseph Evens.
