Hope that everyone is having a great summer! We are on our summer vacation! The weather has been nice we have been so far fishing, riding mountain bikes etc. outdoors things. Tomorrow we are going to head to Sweden and Åre bikepark. I am going to do Beyond the Press video about the trip so if you wanna see how that goes check it out from there. 2 ideas for you. 1. Can you press used 3d printer filament with the attachment that has holes to make useable filament? 2. Can you change to pressure chamber to extreme vacuum to see if you can over pressure a mason jar? Then crush a mason jar with high vacuum and compare to crushing an unpressurized mason jar to compare the difference with the high speed camera
this is amazing. now i just need a similar video but done with much more volatile things being smashed. i.e. batteries, rocks, fireworks, smartphones, lighters, cO2 cartridges, bullets, etc
Might I suggest one potential future upgrade to your system if you're planning to make more of these compilation videos with sound: Add in a resonator hose at the outlet of the pump. You can even do an episode or two trying to determine 1) what frequency and thus length of hose you need, but then also 2) you can ask the audience to rate whether it appears to do anything or not. In the mobile hydraulics industry, they're still debated whether they provide value to the end customer, but since they're fairly easy to try out without breaking the bank, I think it would make interesting Beyond the Press content.
