If you haven’t already, you should do a whole episode on how these dudes “revive” their fallen comrades after they get poked in bladder 4 and spleen 15.
Definitely should. Did a seminar on it for our documentary and it’s hilarious nonsense
yes this is always the thing that fascinates me the most by these videos. Why doctors in combat sports never do this?
Ramsey, I would absolutely love if you also made a video about fighting like Sindel. (Insert bald joke here)
@@jotarokujo7955 I can never figure out what the crossing the ankles does
I belive this is probably the bullshidotecnique that have the highest risk of getting people hurt. If you get taught that crossing a persons legs, sitting them up and slapp their neck is the correct way to react if someone is unconcious you could easely aggravate a neck injury (for example) leaving them lame or even killing them.
I use kiai jutsu on my dog all the time. I make the sound "SIT!" and it forces the back of his body to touch the ground.
It's a fake! He only does it because you are his master.
@@johnmcintosh8673 no I am the master
I love the part where he talks about adding the sound effect to get a stronger effect on the opponent, then proceeds to grab the chin and snap the partners neck. I don't think a broken neck needs any "added effect" buddy.
Gorden Ramsey uses this technique to make people better chefs
Bahahahaa
Yes
Yes he does
Lmaooo
🤣
best comment right here hands down
The art of yelling at things and get it done: exactly what my boss is practicing.
You know, I've noticed that a lot of bullshido seems to come out of this dice and paper rpg book I have from the 1980's called "Ninjas and Superspies". No bullshit, there are things in that book that I have heard fraudsters literally use word for word. Fun game, people should check it out if you like rpgs
It all is very D and D for sure lol
I think people can download a free pdf version online..I'm see if i can find it
Lmfao...had these Palladium Books, that one and expansion Mystic China...
That book lit my imagination up, man
Ive think frauds got that rubbing the back bit, From no contact KO from that movie street fighter. Idk maybe I'm wrong or something.
Hi-
Longtime MA instructor (TKD) and just wanted to say how much I love your channel-this is such a funny video (housecleaning, getting arrested…) had me laughing!!!! Thanks!
David
Appreciate it. Thank you for the support
so, basically, if your opponent is deaf you´re screwed
Use the first one to cure deafness then follow through with a second to incapacitate your enemy
I don't normally wish harm on people, but I would love to see one of these "chi" masters get into an actual fight. The look on their face when they realize their no touch BS isn't working would be priceless. We need to get Xu Xiaodong here in the States. Dope hat by the way.
There is an example of this and it's really hard to watch tbh. A pancrase fighter beat the shit out of an old dude who legitimately believed he had magic powers.
@@jc-kj8yc
Same guy who has been going around challenging anyone in China, or any nonsense practice anywhere he can afford to do?
He was challenging serious martial artists of styles that just aren’t practical outside a classroom with controls.
@@CorbCorbin what?
The thing is.... I do not believe that they ont know its bs...... I think it's a way to rob people
Most of them don't believe their bullshit. They're just grifting.
Kiai is integral to Karate. That being said, it's integral just like how breathing is a part of any sporting activity. No one thinks twice about tennis players grunting :)
Or with how powerlifters shout when lifting many times their weight. These phonies take real concepts that have subtle reasons why they work and whip them up into nonsense.
I have always thought it was to force you to contract/flex your core.
@@The_Wookiee That's what I have also been told, but I think it's also to boost people's agressivness: something similar to a war cry.
But tennis players are claiming their grunts can knockout & revive their ops.
Or weightlifters
Thanks Rob for inspiring me to create my own martial art. Its called Kiai-jiujitsu. Can you imagine how easy those chokes will be to sink when they are KIIIIIIIAAAAAIIIII- DISABLED!
I "studied" an art in which a lot of what I now realize is fairly ordinary armbars and joint locks were explained in terms of extending ki or blocking ki or whatever. Not crazy sounds stuff but energy or something. If they had explained it in terms of body mechanics we might have saved a lot of time wasted feeling for things that are not there. I am confident they were trying to con me; that's just how they were taught and how they were promoted, but the problem remains, whatever its origin.
They did perform some interesting "This proves ki" exercises that I soon realized worked only because their hobby was weightlifting. If you can benchpress your own weight, a lot of things become possible. Again, we would have saved a lot of time if they'd just said, "go lift some dumbbells, ya dumbbell!"
Naturally we never did anything competitive - it was contrary to the culture of the art, we were told. I now realize that was a convenient way of avoiding the truth.
By the time I figured all this out, we were friends, so admitting to myself we had all been conned somewhere along the line came hard. No one likes to admit it.
Kiai Jitsu is real! I can scare my wife away with it. She calls it "Morning Breath" but you and I know it's the Spirit.
Yelling Kia during a strike sounds funny, sure, but I guess I'm the guy wrapping my legs around another man's waist and then trying to choke him.
This might be the best one yet, Rob. I got knocked out through my cell phone speaker and came to 5 minutes later.
As always - a very good breakdown. Keep the martial arts legit, bro.
How do you get those emojis? 🤔
@@papabear328 was wondering the same!
@@papabear328 by becoming a member to the channel.
@@Kottenification I'm already subscribed to it, is that what you mean? (sorry, I'm clearly not well versed in social media, apps etc 😅)
@@papabear328 Ah - not to worry. :-) Excuse my bad english, though (I'm swedish). Anyways. Beside the "subscribe" button on the channel - there is a "become a member" button. (This is a way for the content provider to make money to keep producing more youtube content material). If you do become a "paying member" (again - not too sure if that is the correct term in youtube english) - you get the cool smileys/emoticons - aswell as some other cool features on the channel. I hope I made myself clear.
@McDojoLife - Rob - would you like to add anything to my description and/or clearify what the text on the button actually is in an English browser?
I use "Hing" when the toilet looks like it's gonna back up...then I get the plunger 😄
I had a Karate teacher who’s kiai was ear splitting loud, but we just winced a lot. Also for fun, In the novel “Black Heart” a character uses kiai jutsu, but not like it’s used by these people. Fiction is where it works well.
Marine Corps Drill Instructor's made me drop and do push ups by screaming at me. Does that count? Lol. This is some high level super saian techniques. Hahahahaha.....NING!!!! we are the knights who say....Ning. hahaha Thank you Rob.
We are the knights who say "Ning"😂 Damn I wish I'd thought of that 👍

I’ve seen Karen’s do this to managers, this ish is legit
I wonder if they are paying actors in the Kai jitsu videos….. I could use the Christmas money lol
It’s like David Lynch’s Dune, but more entertaining
LOL I wonder if these clowns have the attack where Paul breaks Faydes chest 😆
Is there yelling in Dune? Haven‘t watched/read it yet.
@@athousandlives7231 In the Lynch movie the Fremen use these beam weapons that when they say Paul Atreides Fremen name, it translate it into a killing energy, killing with a word.
In the book and recent movie it's not as literal, you should read dune, or at least listen to the audiobook, if you like sci fi
@@athousandlives7231 it's portrayed more like a quirk of human psychology, but there's an art called the voice where you can give someone an order using a particular tone of voice and they reflexively obey before they realize what they're doing. It has a lot of other applications, but that's the main one that you see, and it's never portrayed as anything supernatural, just highly advanced understanding of psychology. I recommend the Audible version. It's really well done and it's a great story, but really complex, so be prepared for that.
More like the shouts from Skyrim
When it started I immediately tried to spot the Kyusho patches in his uniform but I was surprised to find out there are more brands of crazy no touch fighting schools
Looks like someone saw the old dune movie: “The Atreides house is building a secret army, using a technique unknown to us; a technique involving sound.” Shaadam IV
im a little suprised you didnt work in a clip from Lynch's 1984 'Dune'... I kept expecting the kiai master to yell out "Mua'Dib!" while a stone plinth shattered.
Wouldn't it be better if he could use the Bene Gesserit Voice to control the attacker?
We need a kiai justsu representative in the UFC
I'm gonna rate this martial art - 5 Dillmans and 3 DK Yoos
So Ashida Kim is low tier rating
Very clever what you did there......! I liked it
Teach me the rating level.....
@@josecosta2484 I'm pretty sure you can also add Frank Dux's and Charlie Z's to Dillmans depending on the degree of the tangent
DK Yoo?
His brother *FK Yoo* is the real hero.
People have been telling me about him for years...
"Some thoughts have a certain sound. That being equivalent to a form. Through sound in motion you will be able to paralyze nerves, shatter bones, set fires, suffocate an enemy, or burst his organs."
The spice must flow
MUAD'DIB!
10:30 Confirmed, Rob is a Ki-Diamond ascended grand master. I will now throw away everything I know and follow the way of the Ace. Or is it diamond. Or the gourd, or shoe...
I love how the leaders of the gyms/styles are normally completely out of shape...
It's almost like they grow their bellies in order to open the gym.
@@RonniePTexan Panda Style.
your videos are the only videos that make me watch with my eyebrow raised all the way through
I heard a Hapkido Grand Master translated as saying a ki-yup should be able to "kill a small bird". There was some talk after about if he meant this literally and it was never mentioned again.
His school was as legit as they come too, very little McDojo and way better training than most TMA places. But there was still a lingering air of rural Korean magic thinking sprinkled in here and there. RIP GM Sung Hong Park
Well hold on now that sleight of hand was badass
It's AMAZING how good these "knock out specialists" really are! They are so good that they can ALWAYS knock the guy out but land them so prefectly controlled that their opponent's never hit their heads & concuss themselves on the hard floor which they are usually demonstrating on. OH, TO BE A MASTER! One day!
Ahhhh. Sound power. Kinda like pro wrestling and microphones under the ring to make that body slam sound more powerful. Amazement! I love these videos.
" You can make them Poo themselves " 🤣
49 seconds in and I'm loving it. The crossed legs is a particularly nice move
This was like watching a drunk in slow motion taking down a mannequin that's had more training than him.
Sign me up, when's the next class.
More classics. Gets me every time lol
That made me laugh so much when you did that skit.😂
Even though I've trained in martial arts most of my adult life, I just feel so vulnerable knowing that people with such 'exceptional and dangerous powers' walk the earth....hope I never encounter one...NING!!!! LMAO.
I like how the guy close his eyes and look away while telling bs to the camera
Awesome dude I saw you do the one hand Charlier cut with your card there but you use your middle finger to push the bottom half up that's very interesting man! Didn't know you were so into and handy with card bro! Love your videos man✌️
kiai jitsu was originally deemed too dangerous to be practiced by humans on humans so they used opossums.
Frequencies “ is probably the most used Mc dojo, and conspiracy theorist buzz word.
the way i tought or saw kiai is a really good tool for beginners to understand exactly when you should flex when you punch or get punched
Just don't let them know about the words "Fus Ro Dah" or we're all screwed
Underrated
Is your patch natural?? I shave mine like yours every once in a while and call it my Genghis Kahn stash!!!! I actually have a recent video on my channel where I ask, “ do you like my Genghis Khan mustache?” Much respect to you my brother
Card trick was well done.
Fooled me the first time;
I then guessed what was happening, but still couldn't see it until I slowed it down.
Nice card skills!
Can't wait for the docco!
Oh shit!! I just watched the whole thing!! Too funny 🤣😂🤣😂
Fun fact, if you sign up to a kiai jutsu class right now, you get a free dog whistle. Limited time offer.
If you use a megaphone, I'm assuming you weird the power of a nuclear bomb?
Way back in the '80s, we had a guy come into our class who liked to scream whilst performing strikes during sparring. We let it go for about 15 minutes but eventually someone punched him in the face and he stopped! ;)
Back at the fencing club where I trained as a teenager, there was one of the better fencers in the club at that time who did a lot of bird-call noises, a kind of shrill PAH-PAH-PAH! as she went on the attack. No one trained us to do that, and the other advanced fencers didn't, but she did. Maybe it made me over-react more to her attacks, parrying too wide (something I had a problems not doing anyway in the face of aggressive opponents). Maybe her attacks became more authoritative and fluid. Maybe it did't make a bit of difference and she just did it because it felt good. She sure didn't have any problem whupping my noob-to-intermediate ass.
I heard a story about the pianist Glenn Gould, who used to hum and grunt a lot while playing, and according to this story he said something like "I don't understand why people stand it, but I can't play without doing it, so..."
Anyway. If that fencer I talked about had stayed on and become a senior instructor and then the next fencing master, I'm sure that more and more students would have started mimicking her. And two generations down the line, the instructors at the old and venerable fencing academy would be telling the new students about how you can't fence your best without the noices.
Very nice layout of the kitchen. You should get another channel about interior design.
Can confirm at least one of the effects on that list. I am indeed frightened when people yell random noises at me.
Love the sleight of hand, I practice it but I still can’t catch it when other people do it
The funny thing is that Dilman started out as a karate competitor. He was a big talker, even claimed to train M. Ali. I think later he met Hohen Soken (Ryukuy Kenpo) and started the pressure point striking. There is an ancient book called The Bubishi which discusses hidden pressure points in Karate Kata. I don't believe in the pressure points. Actually, there was a pressure point master who fought Remko Pardoe in UFC 5 I believe (after Remko lost to Gracie in UFC 2). No pressure point strikes worked on the Judo practitioner - the fight can be TH-camd. Rempko beat him soundly, and later lost to a Brazilian Luta Livre fighter. I attended a Dillman Seminar back in the day (90s). I saw a lot of brainwashed students who were ready to pass out before they were even struck. I would say any good psychotherapist, NLP Hypnotherapist, or any licensed psychotherapist could replicate any of these pressure point, or no touch KOs with no martial arts training.
For what its worth..
Lol....sound can with correct exhalation provide an extra 5 to 7 pounds of pressure in a strenuous act.
.lift or strike its about exhaleing at the right moment combined with C.B.M.(proper bodyechanics in a wave type combination of musculature otherwise known as coordinated body movements)
My dude really said NINGGGGGGGGG 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The most deadly martial art sound is "Muad'Dib" - everyone knows that - LOL
Did anyone else come from a school that used the term ki up? It was a term for vocalizing during a strike. We didn't really put any Supernatural meaning into it, it was more about breath control.
Again with these people treating basic body mechanics like sorcery. All Kiai does is tighten your core at the moment of impact to add a little extra power to some strikes and sometimes aid breathing patterns.
It's the same reason boxers hiss and Thai fighters scream when they land big kicks.
You could certainly interpret it as "shooting your soul through your opponent" but it's in a much more "punching through your target" sense than the no-touch voodoo-jitsu these people peddle.
I would also include tennis players who grunt or shout when hitting the ball.
That 80s videogame soundtrack just fits it so well🤣
It’s actually some movement involved other than using energy,… so it’s not full on 5 dillmans. It’s four
I saw a fight where shouting and growling had a real effect though.
It was a big guy who "was not so good on the head".
We were dumb teens and we didn't realized giving alcohol to someone under controlled meds was a bad idea...
This guy was our friend, he took those stuff as anger regulator too.
Some guy started provoking him and he started to growl like a beats while beating up the dude.
The growls were spine chilling enough for no one trying to interfere in the fight.
But at some point we had to stop otherwise it would have a stupid conclusion.
It took me and more two people to hold him and he broke one of the guys arm.
Btw, the big guy wasn't trained on anything, he was just big(195-200cm tall)
If I say the growls of an insane person going violent didn't made me scared I'd be lying.
I remember my parent use to practice this in the kitchen. They always threw yells at each other! I just thought they were arguing! 😂
All those massages n neck rubs joining a mc dojo is probably the same value as a membership at a spa salon
I’ve practice karate /kickboxing for nearly a decade and belong to clubs that uses kiai as a distraction when doing self defence and performing line work. The physical applications of the techniques have always been good ,but I’ve always found this a really weird thing .
We also have a brown belt Who secretly awards himself a dan every year, so maybe I need to move clubs ?
I like the lawnmower sound to take any opponent! I wonder maybe, if farting when delivering the ninja super secret dilman-dingleberry strike, will knock out my opponent?
To be fair, 'Katsu', has some parts of CPR I see (5:18).
The only thing missing is a 'kiai'. You'd need to yell that down a person's throat.
Recipe for success:
30x of whatever 5:18 is.
2x kiai straight down the persons throat.
I was re-viewing some of your videos, and I noticed something. In the Dillman "Ding" demonstration part, there is a DUDE, in sunglases and sleveless white vest in the background.... WTH is he doing... he is moving his hands, like a cat playing with an energy ball... he looks high as hell. :P
Greetings from Argentina!
@8:32, look at all the Bullshido uniform variants! Wow, like the Bullshido Rebel Alliance!
Oh kiai jitsu is real. I have used it to drop a number of people ( ok two and they were walking down an unlit train at night and I jumped out from behind a tree and yelled at them, but they did fall to the ground) and a judge at the Karate tournament that I knocked out with my kiai during the kata portion of the tournament ( ok I startled him with a good solid kiai and his chair fell from the edge of the mat and he hit his head on the floor,,, and he wasn't actually out but he did see starts for a bit ) ( and I did learn more about projecting my voice from high school drama than I did from karate class. ) these guys looked they watch Jackie Chan's Big Brawl one to many times.
great going..reminds me of DUNE Sifu LePage retired
I counter this deadly move by putting my fingers in my ears and saying “LA LA LA. I CANT HEAR YOU!”
You've successfully increased the quality of your contents very nicely, Sir.

My favorite part is when he blocks the punches that are like 5 inches away from his face.
Rob you out did yourself with that funky ass music
😂 That's some good leg crossing and neck rubbing action.
You deserve more views and subscribers!!!!
at this rate, we will find a master in the ancient, forbidden art of fart jitsu
I fought a girl who did extremely loud Kiai . She was part of a dojo that taught that if you are loud, you will scare your opponent and cause intimidation. After her screaming in my face for a few minutes I got really mad. I already had a migraine and her yelling made it worse. I ended up punching her in the face with all my strength. She was doing her loud scream with her mouth wide open. I did a right uppercut then a right hook I broke her jaw and got disqualified. Wasn't allowed to compete for the rest of the day. (full strength face punches were not allowed.)
th-cam.com/video/FISIY9s9S6U/w-d-xo.html This a video of what she sounded like. Think this woman was from the same school.
The other thing you can do with your sound from kiai jitsu...make your attacker laugh at you
I'm still going to yell "Ning" at every opportunity just to be on the safe side.
I have found worthy opponents to test my mastery of secret ninja arts.
that Arm chop was 100% killer :@)
I love the guy in the background at 12:06 in the Kung fu shirt his eyes are closed his hands looks like he is driving a car.
I'm not a martial artist in any way and frankly I'm old and not a fighter. My question is if these "techniques" are real why doesn't every coach teach these techniques to their Linemen in football and just make every play a touchdown? I'm being rhetorical. I do enjoy your videos. And to Ramsey Dewey's point, having been a firefighter/paramedic for 34 years (retired) the way they revive their victim defies everything I learned about human physiology. Do love the videos though!!!
"Master Blidel uses scream"

I appreciate debunks. I'm a James Randy fan.
Lol I thought you were gonna scream at the cop then you just see a muzzle flash.
It's true the Sound Vibration won't be picked up on Camera since cameras aren't made to pick up B.S
