Saturn or 6-button Mega Drive pad layout and d-pad are my absolute favourites and then an 8bitdo M30 is my go-to for everything SEGA, PC-Engine and arcade (including NEO-GEO). It's also decent for Amiga and Commodore 64 games, once you remap some keyboard keys to the controllers not to mention the dreaded up-to-jump. For Nintendo games and arcade games requiring analog controls, I like to use the 8bitdo SF30 Pro, which has a SNES layout but also a couple of analogue sticks that come in handy. I like to remap NES controls to fit a SNES layout (in practice B-A becomes Y-B). Sacrilegious, I know, but I'm not really bothered because I didn't grow up with the NES and I'm not very familiar with it. Playing NES games as if they were SNES ones is fine to me. That's my Raspberry Pi 4 setup actually, but I hope I can use much of it with the MiSTer once I get one.

I ended up getting the blister. It has 2 connectors for llpa. So next to no latency at all when in llpa. It works fine without the llpa settings for the other cores. The snack adapter will work the same way. I think your stuck with one controller, idk.
I grabbed the blissbox 4 play for the pc. damm was hard to get but came with all the adapters id need for both uses. i may order some odd one's like neogeo. But the essentials are there.

I have the black retrobit Saturn controller and for some reason it doesn't work with either a usb cable or via the usb 2.4 receiver dongle. Hi!! Do you have any of the Nintendo Switch Online controllers to test out and show off?
For example, the 2xNES Controllers, and the SNES and Genesis/Mega Drive controllers. There's also a Japan exclusive Mega Drive controller with 6 buttons.
The functionality (as far as I can tell) is identical to the Switch Pro Controller and really solid!
It's been a tremendous amount of fun to play with the MiSTer, jumping between cores and switching between controllers really seamlessly.

Does Mister remember the controller ID & button assignments made (per core) when you unplug the controller/dongle and plug something else in? I ask because if you are swapping controllers all the time depending on the core being used, I would have thought there would be the potential for the controller ID's to get mixed up? This happens in MAME on PC for example when hot swapping USB controllers. Would be great if Mister remembers though, as I plan on using all the original controllers using adapters. Cheers
