Musica Divina, Paradisiaca,Suono Pulito, Limpido e Puro Gran Capolavoro Mondiale,🌏🇦🇹Ci sono dei passaggi sembra la Musica del Medioevo e Rinascimentale, Grande 💪💪Genio in Assoluto, The Best⭐🇦🇹Of Mozart,🇦🇹✌️👏👏🙌🇦🇹👍⭐
the rondo is such a fucking banger i swear. if you dont think people were nutting in their breeches way back in 1776 while america was getting fucking independent and france is fucking dying and england was being torn apart youre so fucking wrong. this fucking divertimento saved us. its such a goddamn bop truly.
Mozart was a master not only at creating rich melodic sequences, but also variations in mood (emotion). for instance, compare the raw lyrical melodies of the song like piano sonatas & violin sonatas with the intriguing & almost suspenseful mood created by symphony 40 or this piece.
00:00 I. Molto allegro 06:54 II. Menuetto 10:34 III. Andantino 14:50 IV. Menuetto (Tema con variazioni) 19:08 V. Rondo (Allegro assai) 24:28 VI. Marcia alla francese
Refreshing to see people discovering and appreciating this kind of music....meanwhile the flawed education system and the dictatorship of our teachers forces us to just listen to this music and not apprehend and appreciate the piece.
Original instrument versions of Mozart often leave me cold, and I am never entirely convinced by violins played without vibrato (such a cold, steely and unpleasant sound): but this is a charming, witty and musically phrased performance, nonetheless.
Well played, but those who wish to hear this music at its princely best should not limit themselves to HIP versions, but also check out how it sounds when larger, modern forces play it. Karajan's version with the Berliners, while surely not HIP, is spellbinding - the best played by the best. As Shakespeare reminds us, "joy delights in joy." HIP performances like this are a keen reminder of how a genius like Mozart could transcend the crude, puny musical technology of his time and compose works for the ages.
My apologies Daniel - I should stress that I do think this is very well played, and I admire the talents of the players. My argument was perhaps crudely stated (there's that word again!) and I meant no offense to the players, who do a wonderful job playing the septet. As far as HIP readings are concerned, this is a fine rendition. My point was only that works like K.251 do seem lately to be performed mostly by specialists in eighteenth century performance practice. While I am not blind to the virtues of this approach, I also believe that modern instrument readings can illuminate the spirit of the music just as effectively. I guess it all depends on priorities. If transparency and fealty to 18th century practices and technologies is paramount to you, then the HIP approach will almost always be best; but if you place a higher value things like tonal beauty - the "klang," as it were - it's hard to favor a reading made with period instruments over one made with modern instruments. Both approaches have their merits, but over the last 30 years, modern, larger scale performances have gotten to be as rare as hen's teeth. That is a great loss for all of us.
none of that is objective. the wooden flute (it's called a traverso) is a fine instrument that Mozart wrote a lot for. mozart himself is on the record of saying that the stein model of fortepianos of his time were what he preferred to play. He also is on the record for having performed his concertos on a harpsichord that was available for that particular occasion. you and I and everyone else has no ability to say that mozart would be the first to play anything if he were around today.
more of this "crude" nonsense. do you communicate with Mozart via skype? Facebook friends? please tell us how you get all of this precise information on his instrumental preferences.

Wonderful.
Wonderful Mozart
Beautiful. Reminds me cartoons from the 30s.
Per un bel risveglio !
awesome, thanks :D
Grandi musicisti sicuramente. La visione di Mozart di Koopman non mi convince.
Grande Koopman!
The picture on this video is not really doing the music justice...... Beautiful performance.
The 3rd movement.

I played on this album, but not on this particular piece. it sounds a tad condescending to think of our efforts as "Crude"
that is fine. Jason percy calls this technology "crude" - which it isn't, and IS not objective

Music of innocence a cooing baby a purring kitten
Why do I feel like the word "Basso" in the score was intended to be a Cello and Double Bass instead of just the latter?

Great music but please don't put it in the key of D if it isn't in D.
If a person from 1776 heard this piece at "modern" pitch, they'd say the same thing....
