Imagine the various evolution of William Birkins and Nemesis in figure form. Sure they made these figures before but an updated version would give us a chance to get these at a reasonable price.
@@jpstevens938 I would be happy with just the main cast Jill, Chris, Leon, etc., but the Birkin forms would be great also. The basic enemies, though, that's where the money is at.

I think the neutral face with the pouty lips is to recreate her player select portrait. Also, people be bagging on Jada heads for being too cartoony, when SHF faces are literally paper anime masks and nobody says a word.
Something about this figure that doesn't get enough attention is that she can pretty much put her legs together all the way. Most figures are stuck with that awkward parallel position.
Classic outfit all the way. Cammy, Dee Jay, and Guile are all in my PoL and shipping next week. Stoked for their arrival and your reviews of Dee Jay and Guile. Solid review as always, thanks! 👍
Great review and pretty nice figure of Cammy for the price-point. Shame about some of the sculpt issues and strange mouth. Some paint on the black part of the mouth might make it look better. For the question I like this classic look and I also like the outfits and designs of the other similar characters Juile and Juni from Alpha
QOTD: her look from SF6 is impeccable when it comes to modern stuff. She lost none of her proportions and remains built for precise and swift strikes. In fact, it makes her Classic costume even better in… some cheeky areas and I am polite. I know because I played the game and mained Cammy at launch and played the character for months. Got mine from BBTS (November 28th). Paint job on my unit is pretty much the same as yours, looks good but some issues with paint going over where it shouldn’t. The weird lines on her leotard are probably on all units. I think a display stand allowing to be held in the air would have been a nice accessory considering the types of moves that the character is supposed to accomplish. But I can’t deny how FUN this figure is to pose! This is what all domestic releases of the Spider-Man and Black Widow figures should accomplish.
one of the things I had been looking forward to with my first figure of this line was seeing how well I could match poses to an sf2 sprite sheet. obviously there's the animation squish and stretch you can't match but I was dismayed to find how many of the iconic poses are made unworkable by the lack of toe articulation, you realize that basically any leaning move that isn't a planted kick requires those toes to be bent. seems like only some of the large deluxe figures coming down the line will get toe articulation.
One of my most wanted figures of 2024 I hope to get her one day, top favorite SF characters and of course leotard all the way her other fits are nice but if Jada just keeps making more different color leotards I’ll be happy🙌🏻
@@AnthonysCustoms Probably a defect in the mold (yeah you mentioned that in the review)? Mine has that too, but I don't do a lot of close-up photography so its just a minor quibble for me.
SFV cammy is my favourite. Green leotard, but without the random splotches of green camo; those always looked weird to me. This is a great review; thank you for showing off the torso and waist articulation so well! I got a good sense of it from the footage. I personally think that your scores should be based on the price point vs others from the same line. But I do have my bias since I collect based on the character, as opposed to collecting entire lines.
This line has been a breath of fresh air, my only complaint has been the molasses distribution. I'm curious to see the Storm alpha line and how they compare.
I watched another review and they also had the weird line across the left chest to right abdomen. My own copy also had it so it's definitely a mold issue.
I think the thing to keep in mind is that Jada have made some must have figs. They have imposed high standards on themselves. I picked up Lilith today and the lack of accessories is depressing. Street Fighter makes buying figs a joyful experience. Chun-Li is so great. She's fascinating for some reason. I had to return M.Bison because of QC issues so they aren't perfect but they are fun.
Glad I peeped this video before I ordered another because I got mine in today and noticed those crackly lines on her torso immediately, figured I might need to order a replacement but it seems it's a consistent thing. Bummer, but it's mild enough I can live with it
My only beef with this line is that I'm not a big fan of most of the head sculpts. They look a little weird to me. That being said I still bought most of them so far. Still debating on the guile, cammy and dee jay, I have too much shit already. Favorite cammy is classic, but I love the new SFVI look too.
I've noticed the marbling on her left boob for every review I have seen. What's up with that? Is it the color green they choose, or the plastic doing that? The first few reviews I thought the paint had just dripped a bit. Hearing that it's the mold makes me curious.
Nothing makes sense since there's no actual mold defect to be felt. It's from shooting the plastic into the mold but it having the same problem for every figure is weird
My favorite is the blue just because of Kylie Minogue from the movie. I’m fine with the cartoony look because it’s based off the SF2 game. The Scooby Doo and Cyberpunk figures look exactly like their cartoon counterparts. It looks like the stuff Storm is doing in the 1/12line seems to be more “realistic”. Edit: To add, I also like the deluxe figs and the giving of more heads with different expressions.
QotD: I like the basic, the blue, and even the SF V and SF 6 designs. I think the way they updated her look in 6 is pitch perfect, a lot of personality but you can definitely tell it's her and the way they added flowing straps to her jacket it adds to her silhouette flowing just like her ponytails did, that was very creative. I am not into collecting Jada SF but I know their line is very good price-quaility product, however with Cammy her face kinda reminded me more of an american cartoon rather than the game designs or the anime movie, maybe it was a conscious choice but not my favorite look, Chun Li was much more accurate.

4:36 Yeah when I did my review I wondered if the torso lines should be mentioned since it might've just been my bad luck. Seems like it's universal though so that's good(?) to know. Also agree with the neck and shading. After pulling mine apart, there's really no excuse for the neck to be so limited, and orange for the skin is too crude compared to the subtlety on the leotard; in fact, it's because they have such different levels of contrast that it's so problematic. To put it in Warhammer terms, the skin's got Eavy Metal-levels of vibrant contrast whereas the leotard's subdued. If the leotard had been more striking, it would've matched the pop of the orange, and vice versa - but right now the the difference between the two just holds back the final product. Unfortunate, that.

the company who makes them doesnt care about the product of the customer
jada figures look like hot garbage. wish figuarts would make more characters.
Yup I have the same exact lines in her torso you do. So definitely the mold. Doesn't bother me though. I have the same paint in her.... kitty area too. With the extra green. I had to look after seeing yours. But overall I like this figure. I have her blowing a kiss while using one of her open hands.
I highly recommend having a quick look at Kylie Minogue as Cammy. Gots to get a Kylie fig 🦘🤘😍
