Do you know any alternate sites for download characters? I've tried using Mugen Archive to download them, but like 10 minutes after I registered, my account got locked for a day because of 'unusual activities' despite not even having downloaded or posted anything yet
if i don't download on mugenarchive i usually download from youtube description, people often leave download links in the description so i'd recommend downloading from there
Also download 4gb patch for yo mugen.

@@twistedrose1 make sure you're logged In, also the website is unfortunately a bit ass so the alternative way of downloading characters is under a TH-cam video if someone left a direct download link in the description to the character

@Tongo_Z yes, everyone are made by different people, which is why there are differences between everyone, so there's either mugen version that have pre installed characters that you can try finding and downloading, or add 1 by 1, which I understand the small frustration in it, but it's also satisfying to finally finish adding everyone you wanted

There are issues with the website, try downloading from a different website or from a TH-cam videos description
I've been thinking about trying the jus characters but idk which screenpack would work well for them.
Anyone you want, if you want one based on dragon ball characters then search an empty no characters screenpack dragon ball

If you log in, you can download up to 50 I believe, in any case, feel free to use other websites or TH-cam descriptions, as creators often leave a download link in the description

@emxemxster yes, windows probably doesn't recognise the file and automatically sees it as a virus, you shouldn't worry about vselect as long as you downloaded it from the website i provided in the description

Hi dude, thanks for the tutorial, but when im on the player select screen for training, I select my character and click enter and it just simply does nothing, how can I fix that?
Oh yeah,to select a character you press on a command
Now you're probably asking what da hell is that
That's the button you fight with
U might be asking, but how do I know which button that is
Go into mugen settings
Into input f1
Adjust the commands to the buttons you desire
After that remember that whatever keyboard of controller button you said to a is how you pick a character

You probably right mouse clicked on a place where you can't add characters, make sure to right mouse click on the spot where a character would be
can you tell me how to get the lifebars that were in your thumbnail they look like some advanced version of citrix
Also i need to configure my ikemen go speed cus its too fast
With ikemen just go into settings and there should be an option to change the speed, make sure the game is 60 fps, any higher and its going to be fast, regarding the lifebars I don't have those anymore so you'll have to unfortunately find them

There are many alternatives, but besides downloading a character directly through TH-cam description, the other websites are bad as well
Simply search at Google mugen characters, and you'll probably find alternatives
for me whenever i put the character file in the chars folder and i press insert but it doesnt show?
Make sure you're right clicking at a spot where a character can be inputed

it's probable an issue with the character, i recommend trying a different character
7/10 u forgot how to fix crushes and size of character plus how to download stages
I prefer to do a separate video for stages, as of crashes, each one crashes for completely different reasons, you can't expect me to cover every single possible crash, about changing size of the character, that's also something different from the intention of the video

First option open data folder and open notepad. If I remember correctly, you open the system notepad and find the words

The other way is simply downloading a mugen version that has more characters that you can download into

@sarutogames if I share a link, youtube will probably block it. Try finding on TH-cam mugen screenpacks. Often, in the description, there is a download link
Also, in order to not add every character separately again
Open your existing mugen data folder
In it open select notepad
Copy all of the characters' text
On the new mugen open the select notepad and paste the names there

Or you can download the engine called ikemen, it's like mugen and all mugen content will work on it

It's probably a mugen version bug. Try downloading a different version and see if the same occurs

can you help me pls? i downloaded a character i want but when i open the .zip in winrar it shows the normal stuff plus this corrupted looking folder named like æöœœéåæ or smth like that.
i don't condone adding weird files like that but if you're 100% sure that that's the character then drop it into the character folder
if you mean that there's no character folder and only the files, then create a new folder and put the files inside it
