FAST!! VIA Rail Trains! Volume 2. F40PH and P42DC

Here is Volume 2!!
These are Canada's fastest passenger trains reaching a top speed of 100 mph!! These trains were captured around 2010 in the Quebec City - Windsor Corridor. Some of the locations filmed include Beaconsfield, Brighton, Clarkson, Newcastle, Newtonville, Oakville, Trenton and Vars.
Turn up the volume and enjoy the P42's and non-rebuilt F40 locomotives putting in hard service pulling various consists of LRC, HEP and Renaissance coaches.

It feels so weird seeing all of the old paint jobs on these locomotives, now with the new SC-42’s and updated paints it nice to see a throwback once again, Nice video!

That horn at 2:50 ... just wow ! That had to be 907 or 914 I used to waste my summers off during mid school watching video and noticed both those units had their K5LAs tuned differently ! Man is sound is just amazing haha

I found out that 914 once held a K5LLA, which has a 1L bell, giving the horn a deeper sound.

For sure! There are se great ones in part 3 as well, actually the opening scene has one of them. I'm not sure what type they were exactly but they hit different.

Its at Newtonville. Nichols road. The wooden bridge over top of CP tracks that allows access between both railways may be habe been removed.
