Figures like this one make think about stoping collecting legends and go for select and for the price who could blame me?
or you could collect both marvel select only make like 10 difent figures per year
I know but I'm kind of getting tired of legends varying quality. Love your produce pic by the way
willie weasel The only bad thing is the articulation on a lot of the select figures, you can't really do much with posing them how you like.
I think I'd rather have an amazing sculpt and quality over articulation. But select seems to be improving their articulation.

also world first video again! Good job!
Even though this i marvel select (and we get a lot of change as it is) I think that we should've had some animalistic feet to go with the ultimate/modern head sculpt. Also I think the straight spikes should have been pointed at the ends to somewhat resemble spikes rising out of his back and creating a defense.

Man this figure is a masterpiece... I just want to know which select spiderman is the best to go face to face with this.
I would say the classic one or the ASM 1/2 figure. So actually every Spidey released in the last I think 3 years.
Even though this figure is tall to me he still fits in scale mostly because of the spiderman unlimited cartoon where he towards over venom and spidery almost like alien
I can't wait to get the Cable figure to go with Deadpool. I just gotta wait a good month or two for the jerks to lower the price on amazon.ca. People are trying to sell them for 45+ haha. Also awesome review brother, I've been wanting to get my hands on this Carnage since i saw Shartimus Prime doing his thing at SDCC.

The Hulk Buster BAF is the saving grace of what looks to be the weakest wave of recent Legends
I totally agree. Now that hasbro is making big bafs, I really think their weakest waves are spider man 3, and the mini bafs

Carnage:
A character you either like or hate. Me personally......I hate him. He basically represents the bad things of the 90s.(Being a one note character.) My main problem to the "character" is...........he is still around. Yeah, you do get some good modern stuff like "Carnage USA" or "AXIS carnage" (AXIS Carnage I highly recommend, just think of this big, killer, monster of a character trying to help people, giving up his sins, and having some awesome scenes.............only to get reverted back into the one note character...).
With all my raspberries to the "character", his action figures are kind of fun. All the poses I enjoy posing him in are just bloody awesome! Though im not big on Selects size and bulk, he does come with some cool accessories.(I wonder with alittle paint and all, you can get them on the marvel legends version?)
BTW, any chance of seeing the Disney store exclusive Marvel Select Thor?

+Joseph Mariscal Yeah. I just picked up the new Marvel Select Spectacular Spider-Man. With him the head changes just fine. I mean it don't help Carnage but at leat they've improved.

Jesus christ this figure is amazing,best carnage figure made to date easy,everything you get for the price is just incredible not like legends where you get crappy paint jobs and re-used molds for a ridiculous price.

Wow! Between last year's Ghostbusters "I Love This Town!" Minimates boxset and this year's Carnage and Worf, Diamond Select is really showing other toy companies and collectors they know what's what when it comes to accessories!

Makes me wanna find a Spider-man and recreate the scene from the Animated Series where Carnage was preparing to off an unconscious Spider-man. I love this figure and I need it for my Collection.

Great review- as usual. Both versions are AMAZING! - I luv the new ml carnage, and am anxiously waiting for the release of the select version. Ill be getting 2- as he looks awsome displayed in package as well. I agree- marvel select has definitely come along way- and hopefully will only get better. Any idea when the ml rhino baf wave will be released?

Awesome Video Glenn! I picked up this figure about a month ago. Only seen it once in person and that was the time I bought it. I fell in love and I don't even know or care about the character. Yes, definitely, one on the list of Top Figures of 2015! And for the price? Please! I paid £19.15 for mine!

My Carnage don't has the neckpeck problem. I always push the head up like you want to let him look up till it pops off. This works perfectly fine.

Definitely better than the Hasbro figure. I'm not liking the blades on the hands. If I ever get this figure, I'm going to try to cut those blades off and give it some normal hands. Does Carnage think he's the Predator or something? ;-)

I hope the ones to be released in the US will come in package with the symbiote head instead of the Cletus head... (I'm one of those guys who doesn't take them out of the package)... Still an amazing figure though, and I can't wait for it to come to US stores. Marvel select>marvel legends

You know The whole peg getting stuck in the head thing you mentioned
I had the Same problem but
You can solve it by taking a knife and scrapping the edge of the hole in the head so that the head hole is bigger
If you would do that, don't scrape too much of the plastic off
If you don't feel safe doing it

I am a strict Marvel Legends Collector and I thought the ML Carnage was amazing. Then I saw this and I was like "Damn you Select. Damn you."

I dont have much of problem displaying him with my marvel legends. i mean, look at venom, he's sometimes like 9 feet tall! why wouldnt carnage have the same effect?
Glenn Webb nail clippers are a wonder at getting rid of those twisty ties quickly without much chance at accidentally harming the figures!

Good idea. I do usually keep them though. They can come in handy in weird ways when customizing
Totally. I've used them from webbing to costume ribbing (for MY pleasure!) I know others use them for shaping constructs and tendrils before adding putty.
Oh my gosh! I hadn't realized this figure had been released! Ive been waiting for it!
Even though it does not fit in perfectly with the ML in scale I do like how much more bulky this and makes the character more menacing. I preordered this figure a while back and I skipped the ML Carnage, mostly because I could never find it online at a decent price and it was never in my local retailers when I looked. And to be honest, if I am going to spend 20-30 on a figure I love how much detail is in this one.
Ah did they hit they're head in the 90s because the articulated features was bad! Other than 2014 Marvel Select carnage with about hundreds of articulations 100% complete than 1990s!
Ohh careful with those pliers. I did that one time and stripped the fig bc of the metal gripping texture
He looks pretty awesome, but yeah, a little too tall. Great review.
