CSU went from a small ship that was sputtering along to a sinking one. The PAC-12 is no longer the conference of champions its the conference of leftovers
We certainly deserve athletic footing equivalent to C.U. and other Universities of a similar lineage. TV money is important to college athletics, and the opportunity to compete on equal footing only fair. Why shouldn't we have the chance to compete for the national title? However, the PAC6 reminds me of the LIV / PGA "merger" - still a lot to do without guarantees. For me, the larger negative so far is team loyalty- I don't switch girls I asked to the prom - if I did, I wouldn't feel right. Twenty plus years later, I am still pissed about U of A, ASU, Utah, and others leaving the way they did. So I can understand all the negative thoughts in Laramie, C. Springs, Albuquerque, Las Vegas and elsewhere. The grass isn't always greener as us Aggies know. Elation from a victory against C.U. will help ease concerns. Thank you Niko for showing us the way.
what a dumb move why go to a conference that is on the verge of dying and is desperate, it conference is still unstable with 6 teams.... what if the Pac 12 cant get to 8 teams what then...csu should have waited till the conference was more stable, the pac 12 doesnt even have a tv deal yet...what are you thinking
