- Ep 344 - Crime Patrol: Dastak: Bhinderpal Chaudhary residing in Bhoira Village located in Haryana was extremely upset as he lost his Daughter-in-law and new born Son. Bhinderpal's Son Hukum Chaudhary didn't marry since then. One of the Villagers residing in Amar's Village comes across Devika and also talks about her marriage with Amar's Brother Shyam. The groom, his father and the panchayat should be charged with murder and common intent (section 302 and section 34). (Once the Panchayat is tried, held responsible, and punished for giving such verdicts over the law, they will not dispense their own twisted form of criminal justice). The Panchayat was in a way responsible for the murder, as they were the ones yelling about pride and prestige, forcing the father to conduct this murder.
I have heard stories where the panchayats excommunicate people from the village for disobeying the words of the Panchayat, however they may be. The Panchayats should not dispense criminal justice. The criminal matters must be solved by the courts and police, not the panchayats. Panchayats are meant to administer the village and take care of civil decisions, like infrastructure and services.

Crime Patrol episodes are based on actual, real world police cases (the ones which were successfully solved, obviously), and just change the names and places so that it doesn't label the victims and break the privacy rules, for legal purposes.

Nandini Gaikwad correct....the way victims treated by US police ..it will be 150yrs to catch that..if this was happened inUS ..after she reports herself to police (mostly someone calls 911 if she is seen asking for help) this girl would have been immediately medically treated then sent to therapist to make sure she has emotionally recovered and would have further taken care to make sure she is on her own...she would have been local hero for making it to police running away from monsters...her dad would have been booked for domestic abuse probably for some years for sure behind the bars...
