At about 09:00 we start this time from the campsite Trevelez towards Paraje Natural Torcal de Antequera, next to the gorge of El Chorro and the reservoir Beznar one of our highlights for today. At night it has cooled down to 5°C at 1,560m. The night before, of course, we ate the famous Serrano ham from Trevelez.
We drove further south of the Sierra Nevada direction, which gives us, as on the day before, a grandiose reception with great curves, blue sky and a mild breeze from the sea. Past the places Pampaneira, Orgiva and Lanjaron (de.wikipedia.o....
At the reservoir Beznar we took a break. One notices here already when driving through the flora and fauna, that here water is not scarce good, as where else at this altitude. Lecrin, nearby or the Lecrin Valley is the ideal place to spend the morning skiing in the Sierra Nevada and later sunbathe on the beach.
Continue east, then north along the Sierras Tejeda Almijara Ahama, passing south of the Embalse de los Bermejales and north on the Embalse de Vinuela. The nature reserve el Torcal is getting closer. Once there, you feel like you're on another planet. At the rest stop above we take a break, before we go down again and make us the gorge of el Chorro. The gorge is impressive.
El Chorro was the last station and then we went to the campsite Parque Ardales.
