Narrated Approach and Landing at Dauphin Island Jeremiah Denton (4R9) in a Piper Comanche 250

4R9 is often called a 'carrier' landing as the 3000' airport is surrounded on 3 side by Mobile Bay and the approach to Runway 12 is mostly over water.
For those interested in how to fly patterns in the PA-24, I've kept this video centered in a cockpit and added post flight narration for additional context throughout the approach to touchdown and roll out. This airplane is well equipped with a Garmin GTN 650, dual Garmin G5's, and a Garmin CDI. With the visual approach procedure loaded, non-IFR horizontal and vertical references are provided while on final.
