When I am in a tight area like that I use a hump jumper under the front of the foot. It seems to level it off and I get better stitches until I am off of the hardware. Don't know if that will help but might be worth a try. :)

Hey Becky Mac! I love it! Was the problem near the o ring that the vinyl was sticking? I have used a touch of sewers aid on vinyl with my domestic to fix the sticking issue. It wipes right off after u finish.

Hey Sharon, Thank you for the tip. I have never heard of sewers aid.... but will look into that for sure. I do know that with the presser of my machine foot It was just hard to make it go... Thank you.

Hi, Becky - Since you are using gate rings, I would try removing the rings after getting the fold over established and then sewing the straps down. That way the rings wouldn’t be in the way during the rest of the construction process. Just a thought…

You do a great job, hope to see more. Glad I found your channel and subscribed. My 1341 is enroute and I agree not too many sewing bags on this model. Did you have to increase your tension with the jelly and/or TPU vinyl? PS - Hope I can remember to hold the thread tails.... love that you say that!!

Thank you so much, Congrats on your cylinder arm. YOU WILL LOVE IT!!! as far as changing the tension I do NOT. I had Steve at sewing gold set it and I leave it. It doesn't seem to have to many problems with the tension working with TPU .I do find that when I double the thickness of the TPU It will now again skip a stich or two, but for me not a big deal. Good luck with your new machine and If you have any question please feel free to ask. that is why I make these videos, is to Help!!! thank you

Cute bag. I donn N t have cylinder area machine but on your straps could you go up one side across and the take a few backward stitches then turn material to come back down

Hello, Thank you for your feedback, actually you dont need a cylinder arm to do any of these bags. I also have a flatbed that has made many great bag. I am doing video for the use of cylinder arm because there isn't many out there to learn from. If I only had a brain, I'm using gate rings for the straps and all I had to do is remove them and sew the straps down and put the gate rings back on.....Talk about a DUH moment.... lol thank you and have a great day.
