I got the same boat but I’m running a Fly color 150 running a TP 3640 motor which is actually 72 mm long with 6mm bullet connectors, and running it on 5200mAh 6S 120c oh the TP motor is 2100kv. I’m having the same problem. The connectors from the motor to the ESC are getting too hot. My problem is I believe I got too high of a KV of a motor and I’m searching for a prop i’ve narrowed it down to 42 mm 1.4 pitch is about all I can run and I still can’t beat on it much because it overheats. I have twin cooling on it as well. If you don’t mind what kind of set up you’re running on yours now to keep it from overheating ?
Great video
Thank you sir

Nice! I have my current setup in the description of this video.
Need that 8mm life
Definitely my next move. I have everything just need to solder it up.
Add a y cooling connector for the esc to get more water through there.. what’s your prop size and battery u running?
Esc is on its own cooling already and the temps are ok. The heat issue is in the motor /esc connectors and wires. Running abc 1714 and cnhl 6.0 g+ 70c
