I think it's so cool to show you guys how you could achieve a beautiful makeup look with products that only cost $1 from the dollar store. I really hope you enjoy this video! I'm living for this bc I wear make up from the dollar store, clothes from the thrift store, and girls are always giving me compliments and in my head I'm like "girl you don't even know!!" lol and I love my little beauty supply corner stores too. And if any anybody asks me and I tell them, they're like "NO! Wow! You're so creative!" bc I really is about how you something not if you spend millions of dollars

i really really like that you use EVERY product from the dollar store, including the brushes! most youtubers that ive seen doing challenges like this use their high end brushes or kind of cheat in a way and i feel that defeats the purpose of the challenge. kudos to you girl!

This is hands down the best Dollar Tree makeup challenge look I have ever seen. I will say those LA color trio eye shadows are amazing. I have several versions of them. They are very pigmented. It's only the round trio ones look like flowers that are really good. The other ones are not as nice.

Just proving you can slay on a mad small makeup budget. You look absolutely beautiful! There’s a bunch of your videos that I’ve only partially watched so I’m going on a spree finishing them up and making sure I comment to show support.
It's not about the brand it's how you apply it
das me i mean... you do have to remember that this is filmed under bright filming lights which doesn't allow you to see the texture of the skin. this look might & probably does look strikingly different in person. also it's cheap makeup, it's not going to be good for all skin types, such as mine which is super oily. my skin would eat this makeup in 1,2 hours flat. there's a reason expensive makeup is expensive. it's quality. dollar tree makeup is cute for a video but i'm not sure it's practical.
I disagree with that statement I would not say for your base I would use dollar tree makeup but for eyeshadows/ liners / lipsticks/glosses I think it is just fine

agree and base can make a difference. ... I still use cheap makeup when I want to look nice and know I will not be out for a while but i can get it to last at least 6 to 8 hours with a good base.. face and eyeshadows.. But My fav everyday powder is la colors mineral pressed powder they use to carry at my dollar store now I stock up from ikatehouse it heal my acne and all.. but to each there own..

Especially in Winter. You spend about $4 on a white base coat, glitter nail polish, a clear top coat and some remover with jewels😌 Dolla Tree stay having people snatched on a budget😍👌

Elf is my go to. It's cheaper than most even in the dollar store. Plus it just works amazing.

Frfr. The eyebrows look well faded highlight look mellow and nice doubled eyelashes look pretty and simple and eyeshadow look cute. Only thing I would do is add that concealer powder to my lips to matify the blood wine lipstick. This is looking wayyyyy to decent for a dollar store😍👀👀👀
These dollar tree makeup challenge videos just shows that it doesn’t matter what brand of makeup or anything is, it is all about technique if you get dollar makeup it doesn’t matter if it’s cheap all that matters is the way you use it. Preach to all these videos using cheap things this teaches people that things don’t have to be expensive to be good.

I have quite a bit of dollar tree make up ...the LA colors eye shadows are pretty good, decently pigmented, not a lot of fallout either. I bought 2 wet n wild brushes (eye shadow and concealer brush) which I'm really liking. I love the soft lips tinted lip balm. Being a stay at home mom of 2 (and also 2 step kids) my budget is really limited so I have to buy really inexpensive make up but it works for me. :)

Best dollar store makeup challenge I’ve seen to date👌
This just goes to show how the camera and lighting really makes everything look better. From what i saw the makeup looked good to what she was actually looking at. Makes me kinda rethink how I view makeup tutorials now, and that I shouldn't get down on myself when my makeup doesn't look as perfect as the gurus on TH-cam.
more people gotta see that they can slay on a budget, this is by far my favorite dollar store challenge video! I live for being cheap, but it seems like cheaper foundations always make me break out ): it's such a shame, I even have trouble finding a decent foundation that's high end, my skin doesn't want me to win 😅

This is my first time watching a vid from Raye and I rarely comment on beauty-related videos, but I've spent a good half an hour watching 99c make up challenges and I was getting frustrated with how most gurus were just plain out cheating with the use of expensive brushes and non-dollar tree foundation/concealer. I love how she's not dismissive of the cheap products and actually tried to make it work (blending out that overly light powder took so much work) and she slayed. And when she says that she used to use dollar tree make up, I believe that she genuinely did and she wasn't just saying that to be "relatable" or whatsoever unlike other gurus who were all like, "I looOoOooOve dollar tree make up" and then, they proceed on to look so clueless with how to work with the products which shows they obviously never used cheap make up before. So thank you, Raye, for trying (and succeeding). I'm absolutely floored by your positivity, you've earned yourself a subscriber here! :)

i live a dollar store life, so most of my cosmetics are from here [[ like, once every 2-3 years I'll splurge on either the tarte Amazonian Clay in the shade Deep or the black stila waterproof liquid liner]].
You gotta be real careful with ingredients (for instance, they load up most of their body lotions with mineral oil, which doesn't moisturize and is a carcinogen) but occasionally you can really score at the Dollar Tree.
My favorites so far are
1. Milani Crystal Lip Gloss, the perfect brown shade for me, tastes and smells like caramel, they had at least 6 other pretty shades, bright oranges, deep burgundy, violet, lilac, reds, pinks, all are true to pigment.
2. Vitamin C Undereye sheet masks imported by Greenbrier International
3. Wet N Wild Contour brush, like, the softest makeup brush ever
3. L.A. Colors Color Craze Extreme Shine Gel-Like polish, which is the BEST nail polish I have ever used, goes on smooth, isn't streaky, is exactly the pigment it should be, and dries in exactly 2 minutes
4. Opi nail polish which is normally $7-9 I think?
5. awesome little rip-off Beauty Blenders, which are super soft and blend dreamily, so keep an eye out for those instead of those awkward wedge sponges

My favorite dollar tree makeup item is the black liquid eyeliner. Been using that for five years and it does the job. Besides I wear black eyeliner almost everyday so if I'm buying anything it better be a dollar!

I love that LA Colors eyeshadow trio. I've used it for years to do so many looks. When I first started wearing makeup I always used two lipsticks versus using a liner. Thanks for the reminder.
Honestly, I really love the brushes I got from Dollar Tree. The white ones with the pink tips. Not sure exactly what brand they are. Ride or die DT product. Brushes. I actually prefer them over some of my more expensive ones.

anytime you have pimples or blemishes, and you habe spots or scabbing, use Neosporin at night. It clears them up

Used it always. And its made for topical use.
Shantée Nicole she is right because it has only two antibiotics in Neosporin it can cause a secondary infection. This is ideal for scraps and minor cuts only. Be safe

If you can't afford make up, you should at least go for the most affordable drug store brands like elf, wet n wild, nyc etc, which are around a very similar price range. trust me you shouldn't put dollar store make up on your face. There's a reason its for a dollar, you don't know what types of harsh chemicals are in those. And those brands are very affordable as well
