Aai Mumbra Devi Hill Temple, Mumbra, Maharashtra

Mumbra devi is a hill temple lying in Mumbra town near Thane. A beautiful hill located temple providing amazing views of Ulhas river, Mumbra creek. Mumbra Devi Temple is situated in Parsik Hill. It is a temple situated at a height of 210 meters appx above sea level. One has to climb numerous steps in order to reach temple. An average person can reach the temple under 20 mins. The Mumbra Devi temple can be seen from the local train as the the train approaches Mumbra. Mumbra place gets its name after this goddess.

I live in Mumbra . I always used to go to the waterfalls for enjoying .I saw that temple from my childhood and my heart saying that I should go but a thing that stop me from 17 years since I lived in Mumbra . That I am Muslim but I watched this video and I am going right now .. without any hesitation.

I had visited Mumbra Devi mandir 25 yrs back. Now it seems lots of development has taken place. There were no proper facilities in those days. Broken ladders, muddy climb trek, yet beautiful view from top, Devi darshan gives energy. Lots of changes now. Will sure visit again. Now I m 60 hope new changes will help me to reach at mandir
