I had one for fifteen years from a few weeks old,i soon found there is only so much you can train a wire,they are a free spirit and do what the hell they like,thats what i loved about them.
I agree, but they are freaking smart. Ours knew the names of all family members and the names of about 12 different toys. And you could tell him to "bring ring to family member name" and he did it. But sometimes, when he had his own plans, he had his own plans 🤷 as you said, a free spirit.

A mind changed against it's will is of the same opinion still. Once a wire desides what it wants you don't have a chance of changing its mind. They are the smartest little dogs I have ever had.
Yeah they are dangerously smart! One of mine had a big chewy in his mouth and tried to go out the dog door but the ends of the chewy slammed into the frame of the door. He backed up, slowly rotated his head to a 45% angle and was able to walk carefully out the door. They can overcome almost any challenge and that's why I learned that you don't ever want them to get bored.

Iubesc această rasă canină. Am avut nu mai este de8 ani dar este prezentă în casa noastră tot timpul cu toate giumbușlucurile pe care le făcea.

I wish my foxy was as clever as that. Whenever she try’s to get on my bed she just falls off. I love her though.
