i agree with icebreaker even though i have no idea how i managed to power through it.. too many spicy scenes for me and too quickly as well.. i did like ‘Wildfire’ a LOT more but if I didn’t have it on my shelf I’m not sure I would’ve picked it up 😬
I totally need to start DNF more books, especially when they have spice (I'm not a fan of that). I've always been committed to finishing a book even if I don't like it, but in the end, I just regret it 😂
Well let's hope Lauren Robert's writing has improved since Powerless, because that writing was quite juvenile with cringy banter... and I read quite a bit of YA romance & fantasy (I'm sure she has better editors now that she has a publisher) 🤷🏻♂ Where The Crawdads Sing(5.0) was beautifully written... The descriptions of the swamp were so vivid... I love Kaya who is one of my favorite book characters ♥ I loved SCYTHE(5.0)... A great example of an original story and a well written YA fantasy/dystopian 😉 It took me a bit to get used to listening to audiobooks... Like you said, my mind would drift to other things and I'd have to go back over and over... It's just another reading skill one has to master... Now I love audiobooks and can get thru them quickly while doing other things 🎧
I like a lot of spice in books, but I understand why people wouldn't like it. But I didn't like Icebreaker either, so... but for me it wasn't the spice really, it was more the two characters who I just didn't enjoy that much.
Hello, your videos are very entertaining and i can see that you're very sweet that's why there are a ton of people showing their love for u in the comment section. But i do think that u share too much info for it to be a non spoiler vlog😅 i'm not trying to hate, i really like you and i want to watch more of your videos
thank you for being so nice about this! I’ve had one other person comment this & I’m not exactly seeing where I’m sharing too much. usually everything I share is on the back of the book & nothing past that. if you could let me know where you think it was spoilers that would be very helpful. thank you! 🤍
The amount of pain Powerful gave me was absolutely crazy but I still love it so so much! I’m so so glad you did too 😊
i love this!!
Yeah when I saw that you picked Icebreaker, I was like “that is not her vibe, she is not going to finish that!”

Omg I’m so glad I’m not the only one who feels that way towards powerless, like it was so bad, I did not get the hype at all 😭
A lot of spice feels like a lot of wasted space in a good book to me. It can become very annoying.
I agree lol
