I've had two of these sitting in the boxes in my garage for a year. If I would have realized that they were that easy to assemble, I would have put them together a LONG time ago! Lol. I never put them together because I assumed that I would need a second person to help me. Maybe I'll tackle that project this evening after seeing this video.
My husband also bought the same chicken shed like urs but after that he is busy at work so the project is still in the box so ur video will help me a lot to assemble my project and I will surprise my husband 😊thanks a lot
Ohhh my goodness. Thank you for making this! I lost my instructions after getting the frame put up and really needed guidance to get the door on. Phew! Life saver!
I bought the 10 x 20 foot version. Al rest is same.... the wiring a real bear and should be mentioned that the time consuming portion is tough. Thanks for the idea of mounting the nesting box and perch. I was planning on a coop in a coop version
I have 2. Bought both off of a returns/auction site, $80 and $120. They are easy and convenient, quick … but, the doors leave a lot to be desired and after moving 1x a week for about 3 months some welds are starting to crack. Definitely would be unhappy if i paid full price but for what i paid they have done well enough. Currently building wood framed bases for the 2. 24” tall putting these in permanent locations. It will make it a little more safe, will make the sidewalls almost 6’ plus make it harder for chicks to get out when you open the door.
My wife and I have been using this same coop for over a year now. Stands up well to the weather here in western Washington! We have it mated up to a shed where we keep their food, water, roost and nesting boxes. Makes a nice little run for them when they aren't out free ranging. Thanks for sharing!
Grear video.I just ordered one similar but 10x10 we only have 6 chickens for now and we can expand on it. Our plan is to double wrap the bottom 4' with wire we already have and line the outside with center blocks.
I actually got one of these for my dogs. I have to reinforce the bottom with chain link but im excited because they cant use the doggy door because the fence we haves only 4ft tall and out 1 dog can jump that like hes stepping over a stick. And there are times i need to be gone for the night for work so knowing they can go potty when they please makes me feel alot better. And these are cheaper then a dog kennel this size. Probably 2/3 bigger
Found this and so glad I did! I followed your directions and had "frame" up in a hour by myself! will be adding 2 x 4s and adding roof panels to winterize for NE weather -Thank You for sharing!
I love the wood reinforcement! I would have to use 1/2 inch hardwire cloth for sure. I am curious to know what kind of roofing panels would work for this metal coop? I've been thinking about a metal coop but the roofing was a concern. I am in CO so I need a sturdy roof for my run just like you in NE!
We own the same chicken Run (coop or whatever you want to call it.) The design has changed quite a bit, especially the door area. They cheapened it dramatically. Set the entire thing up yesterday, but doing the wire now. They don’t give you wire that’s tall enough. The bottom length, is 45” tall. The wire, is only 41” tall. So I’m guessing you need to stretch the wire in the process. Anyways, assembling this thing now. Will update when I get it finished. Heck, might start my own video shortly lol.
There are so many of these same runs on the market. Some companies include the proper wire and some don't. I purchased another one from a different company after this video and it was junk.
Thank you *SO!* much. I've been looking for an enclosure for my dog & indoor cat and this is EXACTLY what I've been looking for- so unbelievably helpful!! Thank you!!
Oh man I have been puzzling for months over what to do so I can accommodate a few chickens on my super teeny homestead in AZ and I finally come across this video. Thank you so very much! Gave you channel a subscribe too. Between y'all and a local farm blogger I think my future ladies will have it made in the shade!
LOve this coop.......this is great for the summer but i have the winter and snow...........i love the electrical fence that is also great................
OMGoodness thank you so much for thinking to do this video! I just got this exact same metal coop today! Btw they now ship it in one box if anyone wants to know! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to figure out the wire!
Having just purchased one of these, I would caution users that a lot of them now are only 1 inch diameter pipes. I researched a whole bunch of them on Amazon and purchased one that specifically said the pipe diameter was 1.25 inches. When it arrived, it was only 1 inch pipe. This makes a HUGE difference in the strength of the frame. I was not happy. And a lot of these are not sold/shipped by Amazon, so getting refunds are not easy. I also see a lot that look like the same thing just different branding. After as short time from when I purchased mine (that was sold and shipped by Amazon which is why I choose it and that it was supposed to be 1.25 inch) it went Unavailable, so now any negative reviews (like mine) for the incorrect pipe diameter are just lost. And this same product will pop up under a different brand and continue the cycle of deception.
Your girls are just so adorable! I love watching your intro with your little one and that smile on her face! They are going to grow up rooted in reality and what is important in life. Stay blessed. I wish I had my mobility still to be able to do things around my place. Enjoy it all while you can.
While this would work for some dogs, for large dogs I would recommend upgrading the chicken wire to heavier chain link since the chicken wire is so thin. Another thing to keep in mind is that most dogs would have no problem digging out of that run. Maybe just don't rely on something like this to keep your dog secure unless you really trust your dog! Hope this is helpful.
That’s a good point, but there are also plenty of other options to add to this to keep dogs from escaping. I for one think this a great option for people with little dogs to protect them from raptors like hawks, eagles, and owls.
@@livvydraws-v7n that would be a great idea for tiny dogs. And if you line the inside edges with hardware cloth, it would make it harder for the dogs to dig out. I would still upgrade the chicken wire to a heavier gauge at the very least because most dogs would easily chew through the wire that is provided.
You're lucky with all functional pieces, I'm jealous. My kit had one button connection that was a full inch off from the hole it was supposed to go in (or the other way around, one of them was wrong). I had to duck tape that joint. And our door hinges were bent almost closed and we had to open them up to get them over the bars. Its also really difficult to assemble and use if you dont have flat and level ground. We made a couple adjustments. We wrapped from the bar down all the way around with hardware cloth over the chicken wire (in hindsight, I wouldn't have bothered with the chicken wire at all), as well as both tall end walls to protect from predators (high pressure area), burying the hardware cloth a foot all the way around, and we switched out the thin tarp they sent with a standard tarp to cover the whole run since we live in a rainy area. It keeps the girls in and predators out, but we had a problem with small birds coming in (eating the chicken feed, stressing out the chickens, and leaving behind a problem with depluming mites). Its serving its purpose for now, with a lot of extra money spent to make it work. We needed something that would go up pretty fast and easy in a pinch to get us through until we can do better, but I'd have to really be in a serious pinch to buy it again. Just hoping for lumber prices to drop. Looks like your situation is different than mine, I hope this works out well for you. Its a heck of a deal if it does.
I like this idea to enclose my raised beds to protect them from the moose. My worry was how sturdy this structure would be, but when you added that scrap wood to the sides, I THINK this would give it some additional strength. We wouldn't even necessarily need the netting; maybe just on the door. Moose would not be able to get between the pieces of wood and when they come upon an obstruction, they move on. I have to think about it a bit more, but I'm warming to the idea.
Love this coop was thinking of doing the same since all the regular coops are triple the piece or more for about 5 chickens! Also what about the rain? Chickens okay getting wet?
Great video. I ordered the same coop from your Amazon link and it was "damaged during shipment " 3 times never came to my door. Amazon and the company LKF gave me a hard time just to get my refund. That being said the company VEVOR sells these chicken runs and they arrive in 3 days. Good luck and thank you ! I recommend the Vevor run for anyone reading this
Thanks. That sounds like an Amazon problem. Mine arrived undamaged and in a proper amount of time. Mine was not LKF but a seller called Polar Aurora. Vevor stole this very video and edited it to use on their facebook page. Watch out for that company.
I have this coop/run also. I have a movable coop attatched to it I am VERY interested to see how you turn this into a chicken tractor. I have been trying to figure out how to convert it to a chicken tractor for a while. THANK YOU for your great video!
How would your illustrated coop work in Tennessee winter weather? We’ve had quite a bit of rain for the last few years. I’m not complaining as that better than drought, but there’s no getting around wind driven rain and saturated ground. My chickens 6 adult hens are currently housed in my 20 ft horse trailer. It’s a workin progress trying to make modifications without cutting or drilling into metal in the trailer.
Is the chicken wire mesh 1” or 2 “? I’m wondering if I get the longest one if I can build a second door in the middle - I’m guessing I can figure something out - mainly so my cheap self doesn’t have to buy two to separate chickens. They mainly free range but I would like to be able to separate a pen for chicks coming out of the brooder, breeding pairs or to all some of my broody hens to have a sage space to raise their own chicks. I’m thinking about the dome one because if I love it maybe I could have a second one to keep chickens out of my plants, put a shade cloth on top. Thanks for the video Ian’s replies I thought about cheaper brands but I saw you did not have the same success with those.
Thank you for the good explanation of the components and how to build that metal coop-run. I have being reviewing lots of videos for a chicken coop-run but they are just complicated for me because I have not the skills, the tools and the patience to build it. But I got plenty of recycled tubes for another project that can work for the chicken coop-run and I already have the wire, just need to find the connectors. I will need to have some wood walls (corner) to give the chickens climate protection and a covered roof as well. Suscribed!
I just ordered this from your link as I have been interested in it for awhile now and we are first time owners of baby chicks and hoping this will make them a great run! We live in Montana so I sure hope it holds up through the winter time! We will be buying hardware cloth to skirt around the bottom of this run and extend the wire out from the run to deter predators! Let us know what you think about this run once you have had it for awhile! Happy Easter and love your channel!
Awesome. Hope you are doing well with your chicks. They grow up incredibly fast. Good idea adding the hardware cloth. We did that to our main coop. Happy Resurrection day!
I had a falling tree limb damage my run. I need to order some replacement parts but can't find any company contact info in any of the documentation. Anyone know which company I can contact to get replacement parts?
We have an electric fence surrounding the coop for predators. We don’t have high winds here. I did pond in a tpost and tied the coop to that tpost with wire.
apparently i am the only one who [EMBARRASSINGLY] cannot find the link to the product! excellent video - clear, no wasted words, concise, entertaining...i'm sold! but what is the product name and/or link?
They are always in the video description below the video. You need to click on the bold word "more" and it will expand and show you all my links. Here are copies of the links for you....Metal Chicken Run: amzn.to/3mePCUT NESTING BOX: hengear.com/?ref=countrylivingexperience Coupon Code: countryliving15
If a dog or coyote really wanted to get in. I don't think the mess is strong enough to keep them out, especially a big dog. I'm going to put chicken wire over the mesh on the sides to keep that from happening.
Found your video and we ordered one. We need a run like this off of our main large coop. Most of the time we free range. But need a run for spring planting. Vacations and if we notice predators. To keep our girls in. Putting together tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes.
It is set up. Everything went smooth. We were only short one button clip, we just used a bolt. There was plenty of chicken wire. We decided to dig and put in a chicken tunnel from our coop to this run 6 foot away. That way snow from the roof won't fall on it. Thank you for your video. We used it for the setup and it helped a lot.
Completely different question 🙋♂️ I have a porch cement 10x15 can I use it to make a temporary shade structure for my son to play underneath? My apologies
I was trying to followed your instructions but in the video it look like you was going to fast and I couldn’t put it together I try but it didn’t work out and i got the chicken coops walk in poultry cage and I couldn’t put it together I didn’t know which one was witch like it hade number on them I just couldn’t figure out what to piece go were
I have this one as well. I think I did the door wrong though, it scrapes the bottom when I open it. Also I just stuck my chicken coop inside of it rather than putting nesting boxes in it, but good idea.
So it looks to me that when you attach the door with the swivel attachments there's a lot of room. Have you actually put chickens in there and do they stick their heads out of that Gap? I have three very curious cats who might patiently wait for a chicken head to pop out. So what I did is I took the swivel and pushed it in. Just enough to allow the door to open halfway inwards. That way I can shoo my chickens and enter. I would have liked a fast forward show of you putting on the chicken wire... My thoughts are I'm going to have to hold off my potty mouth a few times when I'm doing that. The cutting the door and side panels. I really enjoyed your video. It really helped a lot. Somehow I lost the instructions before the door assembly. Thank you!
You’re welcome. The gap on the hinge side is covered by the wire. It runs continuously on that side. On the latch side, I overlapped it slightly so that it covers (mostly) the gap there. I also have an electric fence around my whole coop. My cats used to be curious until they touched it.
This is not actually a coop but a run. I'm wondering how difficult it would be to secure 2 × 4 in welded wire around the base. Seems like anything that wants to get in during the day could with wimpy chicken wire the kit provides. A separate coop is necessary for night time security. At least here in New England and for my level of risk/loss aversion. Ah, just got to the end of the video to the electric fence part of the security. May make a world of difference.
I bought one like this and I’m going to install it this week. I’m also afraid of the wind. We don’t get High winds but last week we had rough wind and blew our trampoline into the field. Do you suggest maybe pouring concrete on the bottom bars. I plan to leave it there forever just make some adjustments like adding tin on one square and wood around it. But just one square and leave the others with the wire for sun
It has not moved at all for us. We put a big piece of metal on one side of the roof and the wind has not bothered it at all. If you want, You could bend a few pieces of rebar and use them like giant tent stakes. Pound them in over the bottom tubes.
We did a video about how to convert it to a chicken tractor here......th-cam.com/video/kNTEW0rUzDc/w-d-xo.html. The only thing I would change is replace the wood I used with tube steel.
Thank you for this video! Very helpful! Wondering how folks are securing the cages to the ground? Having a lot of theft in my Hood, as well as intense wind storms from time to time, so I want to secure it down to mitigate theft and rolling over in storms...any thoughts on this?
Thank you for review, it is very helpful. I was thinking to purchase this type of run and place small coop inside. But my only concern is that door radii create a gap for predators to get in. What's your thoughts on that?
Great video! I'm considering buying one of these to use as a chicken tractor. I think you mention that, do you have a video of modifications you made to make it mobile? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
Thinking of buying one myself. Since this was filmed a year ago, I was wondering how it's still holding up? Before I invest approx $400 I want to make sure it will last.
It has held up fine. The wire they give you to secure the fencing to the poles is a little thin and rusts. You may want to get some additional stainless steel wire.
We have the same exact one and just put it up. We haven't finished it because we can't figure out how to do the front and back with the amount of wire left. It's too short to reach the peak in the center when stretching it horizontally and too narrow stretching it vertically. Hope you can offer suggestions. But yes, the instructions go clear off the rails when it gets to the wire...🤦🏻♀️
Did you do a video on making it safer? I noticed you had a solar/electric fence type thing you were going to use? Any info on that would be great! Just bought the coop/run.
Hello. We put up the electric fence and solar charger for it here.....th-cam.com/video/Vimkl-eZAD4/w-d-xo.html. The fence itself is great but I recommend getting a different brand solar charger for it. We have a Gallagher now and it is awesome.
We bought this same run and we used it to house some ducks while we build a duck house and on night 2 we lost 9 ducks because a weasel broke all the zip ties along the bottom and was able to get in, so we lost half. Have not used it sense.
It is not made to be secure from predators. We used the supplied wire to secure the chicken mesh wire. We additionally have an electric fence around ours.
That one didn't work well. It was just ok. I have a different one that is amazing. I did a video on it here.....th-cam.com/video/2GzbnhDWp5Y/w-d-xo.html
How tall would you say it is from the bottom/ground to the top where it starts the roof part. I mean im 5ft tall so id be fine walking in but my husband is 6'3".
just want i needed to know about tube straps . I would prefer to have a metal roof in the long term , also be able to go over it with hardwire cloth My neighbor has chickens and stuff but because of them we now have a rat snake issue and coon issue . So i stopped having chickens for a couple years because of my neighbor. .. So i just bought a new chicken palace a very very nice Amish made 8x10 building with double doors and windows. Going to do rain barrel water system , solar lights inside and outside , and a nice feed system. But the big thing is SNAKES making sure they can't slither in .
I just order a new coop like yours for my chickens. My dogs eat the chicks when they escape. Are the holes in the wire small enough where they can get out or am I going to have to add more wires
There are no holes that are small enough for them to get out but a dog could easily dig underneath. I put an electric fence around mine to keep my dog out.
Hey there, we just bought this kinda coop… we are putting it together and are unsure on how to put wire in between the run and the door? There’s a gap big enough that rats could come through.
I am having problems with the door. It does not hang correctly. I could not put this run on completely level ground so everything is a little cockeyed.
It is a bit heavy but we did a video on adding wheels here.....th-cam.com/video/kNTEW0rUzDc/w-d-xo.html. Only change I would make is replacing the wood with metal tubing.
I’m waiting on my 3rd box now so I can finish installing it. I’m not using the provided chicken wire. Instead I’m using some 2” by 4” welded wire that I bought from The Tractor Supply Co. for 70 bucks. A raccoon could rip that wire mesh to shreds.
@@CountryLivingExperience we’ve got some cats, a dachshund and a chihuahua. I think they would bark if they see the raccoon. I haven’t seen a coon in about 3 years but we have lots of possums.

I’m not complaining as that better than drought, but there’s no getting around wind driven rain and saturated ground. My chickens 6 adult hens are currently housed in my 20 ft horse trailer. It’s a workin progress trying to make modifications without cutting or drilling into metal in the trailer.
I live in Texas so it is different. I put some wind breaks on the West and North sides. My chicks were out there all winter with no issue.
Having assembled three of these, the zip ties will break down but the wire works great.
I found the same conclusion.
It is 1". It has been a good coop so far.
Suscribed!
You're welcome. Glad to have you here.
I just ordered this ! Thank you for your video and instructions.
I have 14 babies and I h ave needed to increase my room.
Awesome! Glad we could help.
What did you feed them?
I assume for the door and front/rear panels you have to cut the wire to the shape needed?
Correct
So many questions! So what about predators and it being chicken wire? And heavy winds if you use to as a tractor you not pinning it to the ground?
We have an electric fence surrounding the coop for predators. We don’t have high winds here. I did pond in a tpost and tied the coop to that tpost with wire.
The're are some copper colored screws that go on the clamps on the door frame, but no holes to put them in?
Must be a different brand than mine. I don’t have those.
apparently i am the only one who [EMBARRASSINGLY] cannot find the link to the product! excellent video - clear, no wasted words, concise, entertaining...i'm sold! but what is the product name and/or link?
They are always in the video description below the video. You need to click on the bold word "more" and it will expand and show you all my links. Here are copies of the links for you....Metal Chicken Run: amzn.to/3mePCUT NESTING BOX: hengear.com/?ref=countrylivingexperience Coupon Code: countryliving15
@@CountryLivingExperience thank you! naturally i tried this right after i posted the question! it's in my amazon
cart!
Very good video! Ordering now. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you
What are the dimensions of the Tarp.
I think ive decided this coverd in thin chicken wire and concrete or a concrete dome
we were thinking about using this to keep our outdoor cats safe from Coyotes
Probably
Hardware cloth to keep rodents out 1/4”
Cat coupe
If a dog or coyote really wanted to get in. I don't think the mess is strong enough to keep them out, especially a big dog. I'm going to put chicken wire over the mesh on the sides to keep that from happening.
Thank you SO much for showing how to do this!!!
You are welcome!
Found your video and we ordered one. We need a run like this off of our main large coop. Most of the time we free range. But need a run for spring planting. Vacations and if we notice predators. To keep our girls in. Putting together tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes.
Awesome
It is set up. Everything went smooth. We were only short one button clip, we just used a bolt. There was plenty of chicken wire. We decided to dig and put in a chicken tunnel from our coop to this run 6 foot away. That way snow from the roof won't fall on it. Thank you for your video. We used it for the setup and it helped a lot.
@@travis2539 Glad you got it set up smoothly.
I want to use half of this as a tractor. Can i do that? Or does the roof running horizontal come in one piece? Ty!
You can get a smaller size. This one has to be fully built out as is.
My son suggested using PVC heavy outdoor conduit, that would’ve lighter to move. Any thoughts?
That would be lighter but it will also be susceptible to wind.
Do you know if wood walls can be added to this?
You can but you would have to highly customize it.
Completely different question 🙋♂️
I have a porch cement 10x15 can I use it to make a temporary shade structure for my son to play underneath? My apologies
Sure. It would work well for that application.
I was trying to followed your instructions but in the video it look like you was going to fast and I couldn’t put it together I try but it didn’t work out and i got the chicken coops walk in poultry cage and I couldn’t put it together I didn’t know which one was witch like it hade number on them I just couldn’t figure out what to piece go were
£159 put up on my own just added galvanized steel mesh dug into a trench
Would this be okay for a dog too? Question has probably been answered but I may have missed it.
Absolutely. Perfect for a dog.
I have this one as well. I think I did the door wrong though, it scrapes the bottom when I open it. Also I just stuck my chicken coop inside of it rather than putting nesting boxes in it, but good idea.
Cool. Can you scoot the door hinges and the door header up a bit? That should help the issue.
Does anyone know where I can get some extra of the metal tube fittings ? Thanks
You all think this would good to critter proof some raised bed for a garden?
Maybe. There is some space at the bottom. You could just extend the wire so it overlaps the bottom by a few inches.
Thank you for the advice
Dont know if you get snow. If so how did they hold up in the winter
We don't really get snow here so I am not sure.
Can that run be moved around easily? Great instructions! Thank you for posting!
We did a video about how to convert it to a chicken tractor here......th-cam.com/video/kNTEW0rUzDc/w-d-xo.html. The only thing I would change is replace the wood I used with tube steel.
We totally got that a couple of weeks ago!
Nice!
Same here. I’m just waiting on the 3rd box now.
I came here looking for some help about the door... thanks a lot, mate!!! nice channel
You’re welcome and thank you.
Thank you for this video! Very helpful! Wondering how folks are securing the cages to the ground? Having a lot of theft in my Hood, as well as intense wind storms from time to time, so I want to secure it down to mitigate theft and rolling over in storms...any thoughts on this?
We have some moderate storms here. 30 to 40mph gusts. It has not moved.
I plan to drive metal stakes in all 4 corners and metal zip tie to em
@@LisaSupik Any particular brand? Size? I have stakes but they are not even 6" long and that doesn't seem long enough, but maybe I'm wrong?
Thank you for review, it is very helpful. I was thinking to purchase this type of run and place small coop inside. But my only concern is that door radii create a gap for predators to get in. What's your thoughts on that?
I have an electric fence around mine.
Great video! I'm considering buying one of these to use as a chicken tractor. I think you mention that, do you have a video of modifications you made to make it mobile? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
Thanks. We did a video on that here....th-cam.com/video/kNTEW0rUzDc/w-d-xo.html.
(Note: I did switch the wood for metal tubing now.)
@@CountryLivingExperience Thanks Eric, I just watched it. Great video, super helpful!
@@CountryLivingExperienceGreat! Thanks for replying! ♡
Can you do a video on how you built the roosting bar?
You can see it in many of my latest chicken videos. I just threw some scrap wood together to be honest.
That is strange. I actually had about 8ft of leftover wire netting.
We have a Gallagher now and it is awesome.
how did you wire front with door and back
Not sure what you mean
How well has it held up now that some time has passed?
Very well. It is very strong.

Is the nesting box still working?
That one didn't work well. It was just ok. I have a different one that is amazing. I did a video on it here.....th-cam.com/video/2GzbnhDWp5Y/w-d-xo.html
I love your channel. Question: Can’t predators get through the sides of the entry door?
Thank you. They could but I have an electric fence around the coop. Keeps everything out.
Is this the 1.25 diameter pole or the 1" version?
1.25"
Just wondering how this structure has held up over the past couple years?
It is holding up perfectly. No issues
Hello - where can I find a replace/backup tarp that covers part of the coop?
Any tarp from a hardware store will work. The tarp they give you is not good quality.
I'm wanting to do something like what you have done. I'm wondering, how would you weather proof it for winner
Chickens are resilient. They don't need that much protection. Just a little wind break.
How tall would you say it is from the bottom/ground to the top where it starts the roof part. I mean im 5ft tall so id be fine walking in but my husband is 6'3".
It is about 6' in the center.
We are t able to get our Part D connections connect our 3 part in the right direction. Are all D parts (connecting parts) the same?
They should be the same.
There is really no way I’ve found of securing the gaps around the door. Squirrels keep getting in! Thoughts?
I have an electric fence around mine to keep our predators. Don't your chickens kill the squirrels?
I would have liked to see how you cut the chicken wire on the front to fit the door
just want i needed to know about tube straps .
I/hardware cloth keeps out snakes.
There are a lot of gaps in this coop that many predators can get through. I have an electric fence around mine for protection.
Is this the 1" diameter or 1.26" off Amazon?
1.26" This is the one....Metal Chicken Run: amzn.to/3mePCUT
Thanks man. Worked like a charm today. lol Watched ya while I put mine together
Very cool!
Loved the video. Do you think its sturdy enough for a couple of cats?
Thank you. Yes, it is plenty strong enough for a few cats….unless they are tigers.
@@CountryLivingExperience thank you so much
How are you planning on modifying it for the chicken tractor abilities
We did that video here: th-cam.com/video/kNTEW0rUzDc/w-d-xo.html. Search our archives for all other vids.
I am having problems with the door. It does not hang correctly. I could not put this run on completely level ground so everything is a little cockeyed.
If it is not sitting level then the door is not going to hang right.
Can you add wheels? Is it heavy? Can't wait for your next video
It is a bit heavy but we did a video on adding wheels here.....th-cam.com/video/kNTEW0rUzDc/w-d-xo.html. Only change I would make is replacing the wood with metal tubing.
JUST bought and assembled this exact run a week ago! The chicken wire wasn’t fun to install but the frame was a breeze.
Here’s to hoping they hold up!
Awesome. Yea, weaving that strait wire around those poles did take some time and patience.
I’m waiting on my 3rd box now so I can finish installing it. I’m not using the provided chicken wire. Instead I’m using some 2” by 4” welded wire that I bought from The Tractor Supply Co. for 70 bucks. A raccoon could rip that wire mesh to shreds.
@@robertteague6342 I haven't had any issues so far but I do have an outdoor dog patrolling all the time.
@@CountryLivingExperience we’ve got some cats, a dachshund and a chihuahua. I think they would bark if they see the raccoon. I haven’t seen a coon in about 3 years but we have lots of possums.
@@robertteague6342 How did you secure the welded wire to the frame?
