I wanted to skip this beautiful song cos i felt i don't understand the language but i took a chance cos it was composed in honour of the blessed Virgin Mary.. Glad i didn't skip it cos I'm not repeating it... Well composed and executed.. What is left is the meaning.. kudos to this beautiful choir from kogi..I used to think the best choirs are down south but this song has proven me wrong..
They are just incredible. The voices were strong together and I'm thrilled that kogi state university has such a beautiful and melodious Catholic choir.
I listen to this song several times a day. I love the rhythm. Do I understand it? No. But I love it with all my strength. Please post more songs like this one. Thanks for making my day a fabulous one. I'm loving it.
It would be more awesome if some one can upload the words of this song. The young man with base, I can't thank you enough. You have a beautiful voice. Talk about beautiful young lady with a beautiful voice, you put a smile on my face immediately you opened your mouth Wow! Alto's, Tenor's, supranos, and the base/entire choir there is no way I would not appreciate you all. A special thanks goes to the director of this choir. Again thank you. Please raise your hand if you still enjoying this song with me. Thanks Ya'll.
So true I love it
@@henryokonkwo2807 Amen brother.
I love your comment of gratitude
I love ❤ it too!
The words? It's easy. They just sang the "Hail Mary" or "Ave Maria" (Latin) in Ebira language. It's exactly the words of the prayer translated in Ebira. So if you are Catholic, then just know when you listen and follow, you're praying the Hail Mary!
Then if you're not Catholic, you may check the internet to get the words of the prayer. God bless you!
Watching this masterpiece again after so many years and I’m still wowed ❤
Lovely tenor,, lovely soprano. May the name of the Lord be praised
This is an extra ordinary piece which shows the importance of our rich cultural heritage in honouring the Most Blessed Virgin Mother Mary, i was over whelmed when i heard this musical piece and i urge the composer to keep it up.
31/Oct/2022. 10:36pm Watching from Canada and Amazed at such angelic voices from 9 years ago ❤. Wondering what you all look like now 😊

This song appeals so much to my soul even though I don't understand the language.

Ave Maria. Queen of hearts. A beffiting way to honour my glorious mother❤
This is for me, the best piece to have come from the stable of FILM Nigeria. What a composition! The composer cum conductor proved to really be the master of his work. Kudos! Pretty sure I've listened to this over a thousand times before but still can't muster the power to click skip each time I come across it by chance. This rendition is contagious mehn. I'm addicted. Great rendition! Same feeling each time I play it. Another day, another non-stop experience. MA KUVU MARIA!
The conductor is actually the composer.
@@manabadanielabah6323 Yeah, so I noted. You were a part of that choir. Right? I can see someone from a choir I used to be a part of years back. You should know him too then... Martin S. Right next to the bass soloist. Nothing beats the feeling of singing in a choir if you ask me. You guys did well.
@@michaeldibor9315 you’re very correct. Martins and i were members of that Choir.
The feeling of singing in a choir is heavenly!
@hometruth0812 Occassion is the Forum for the Inculturation of Liturgical Music. Catholic chaplaincy choirs from Nigerian Universities meet biennially with new compositions (in Nigerian languages) for the church. This is a Marian song titled "Ewu Ene Eyiza Oohe" in Ebira language.
