"The Squad is not about ladies; it’s about scary games." Proceeds to play a horror themed FPS that's not scary, but is WAY Cathartic for anyone who hated getting constantly murdered in Carthanc with no way to defend yourself, and having to replay long run-away sections.

I had assumed that the planet of Carthanc was super earthlike, but populated by these weird potato face people until the Wireframes and their monoliths and shit came to get them. But yeah, it was super cool that this is a prequel to that. I'm gonna go rewatch the Carthanc episode of Dread X 1 to see if it mentions where the player character is from, for more information.
This one is my favourite so far, the art style is simple but effective, the shotgun is op with a meaty sound effect, and the music is amazing with some really eerie ambient sound

Im stunned at how good and creepy the death animations are when they twitch on the ground and shit. This gunplay seems TOO good for a little shitty scary game package indie title thrown together in a month, you know what i mean? This dev should work on a longer 1-2 year project and release a full shooter, it'd be fucking great!

I KNOW it's not happening but I have such a vivid imagination that the thought of it almost brought me to tears. I need to hug my dog now..
I love how some of the guys seem to die without even getting hit by the bullets. They're like jackie chan movie stunt extras just throwing themselves to the floor after having half a meter gap between the punch and their face xD They're just trying to enhance the game experience, god bless them. Still kinda weird tho xD
