    Another amazing video. Just one point though, I believe the ANSI standard in the video is called ANSI-92 standard which introduced the JOIN and ON clauses. And the non ANSI one is called ANSI-89 standard where tables are listed in FROM clause and filters on PK and FK are specified in WHERE clause.

    First time read ANSI and non ANSI method . It was good to know . First time from your example understood that without using join keyword tables can be joined via. Non ANSI way .
    Looking forward to have more learning on SQL , Python . If possible , please give some database and problem statement which users like me will try to solve in 4 to 5 days and after that you can explain that in video form . It will be form of active learning .
    Thank you very much . You are doing great work.

    I recently discovered your channel! Let's get connected! I have a passion for SQL and actually I learned how to understand and troubleshooting plus 20 years ago and we were using TOAD. Until so far I never created a query by my self but I used the reports but needed to understand if there was an error in the reports. I need to do an assessment and need to write SQL query which will be validated against the database. I will have to use only basic ANSI SQL statements

    Hey there, glad to meet again.
    I am working my way around sql language and still have one major enquiry.
    Should i care about if a database is ANSI SQL compliant? If an implementation is not completely
    compliant shall i read the documentations from ansi or should i work only within the boundaries of the dbms and ignore ansi.
    Thanks a lot for taking care of this.

    • @techTFQ

      Yes some still do .. especially the ones who use oracle ..

    • @kakoulala9278
      @kakoulala9278 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes some do. And personnaly i find non ansi much easier to read. All the tables used in the from clause. All the where clauses in the same place. No concept of right or left you order le clause as you see fit so for equijoin the plus on the right is much more visible. The online views are alqo much more visible. As working on oracle i will never go back to ansi

    Thanks for the video man, really awesome material, just one QQ, I'm used to work on postgre and mySQL, Oracle, but now I landed a job with a company that heavily uses MS SQL Server (not my favorite engine) still, are all of this concepts, also CTE applicable to this RDMS? thank you.

    • @techTFQ
      @techTFQ  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thank you buddy.
      And yes MSSQL is very similar to any other RDBMS. 90% of concepts will be common. there may be some minor changes in some of the syntax and some additional functions.
      But will not be major difference
