He was my coach
On weekend nights this intersection is the unholy convergence of drunks, homeless, drivers, bikers motorcyclists and everything in between. Police are always stationed on the intersection or just east of it. Likely there is a reason why the driver who was cooperative has not been charged.....

The Brandenton Teacher was allegedly out on St Pete Beach at the bars getting hammered drunk with his wife and was belligerently picking fights with other people there. They then ended up getting kicked out of one of the Restaurant/Bar establishments. On the way out they were sovintoxicated and they ended up running across the busy street without looking both ways while crossing the road leading up to the fatal crash that took place! It is the teacher and his wife's fault that they were hit by the car, not the drivers.
