How do you get the plungers out if they don’t have that big flat on them?

i have a 2014 VF-4, started throwing face mills. Looked like the plungers were sticking. Took it apart and everything was bone dry. No grease at all and it's never been apart. I was wondering why there isn't a grease hole in the side of the arm so you could pump a couple shots of grease in it once in a while

Why e-stop during tool change and not just jog the arm into its extended position? Not a huge deal if you have an auto recover button but a lot of machines don't and you'll have to reteach it visually.

The plunger can not be removed with our VM6 2018 model. It hits the plate on the bottom of the double arm. Is there a way to remove this plunger?

It really depends on how you use your machine. In other words, how many hours a day you use your machine, how many tool changes a day, etc. Generally speaking, inspecting the plungers for wear every six months is a good idea. Check to make sure everything is greased properly once a year. Hope this helps!
