it could be argued that aizen has other uses, because maxed aizen can hit airs too, which pucci cannot, aizen is also still incredibly strong and has a full AOE

Why does dps matter
dps matters because your getting more damage quicker if you have a unit that does like 150k damage but has a massive cooldown one with like 50k damage or like 45k o whatever is better if the cooldown is super low lets say that high damage unit has a 20s cooldown that one unit with less damage but good dps will be doing more damage by the time that high damage unit uses its attack
