Actually, this kind of video shoot are a thing in 90's live performance in korea. So maybe the pd trying to make the performance more related to the original one.

I loved AB6IX's performance so much that I had to check out the original and the lyrics. I love the original too, and the lyrics! I think AB6IX did a great job embodying the message of the song. AB6IX'S version is lighter and bubblier, which suits both their voices and their personalities. Daehwi and Woong were literal sunshines. And Youngmin was soooo cute!! They made me happy! Now I can't wait for DANDELION and PRETTY stage!
I've been in club h.o.t. for almost 4 years, and by far this is one of the best covers I've heard from a younger group. the instrumental arrangement was changed but still preserved the energy and the message that Kangta wrote 21 years ago. AB6IX did an spectacular job!!!
