I can only assume the Mini-Mall Monkeys is a reference to Space Quest, since that's a key component to progressing through the story. I think it's specifically Space Quest 5, I think somewhat late into the story. You basically dump a bag of them into a cup of alcohol , and let them swarm the entire space bar (since they bone and spawn like crazy), while you break one of your crew out of a holding cell. The bar I believe eventually explodes due to how many of the monkeys spawn.
Probably redundant but I have been following the TikTok situation and do have a couple questions for Chilled and anyone else interested. 1: It’s not *technically* a ban. What they’re trying to do is make the parent company of TikTok, a Chinese owned and operated company that reports directly to the PRC, subsidize aka sell their operation of TikTok to an American owned company or at the very least, a multinational corporation. If they refuse to sell, they are not allowed to do business in the US. This happens all the time but it’s all business law so most people never hear about it. Who wants to read the arguments over whether or not a Russian yarn company can sell to an American clothing company? 2: I completely agree that our own companies steal, sell, use, and otherwise abuse our information. However, doing business in the US as a US company affords you protections under the constitution and other laws that prohibit government actors from interfering in your business, so long as you are following the rules and regulations. So while they can go after a Chinese company for selling our information, an American company would be protected. Considering the government’s management skills in other areas, I’d say it’s best they stay out of our companies as much as possible.
