In this video, we try to understand what a goroutine exactly is. We go through several layers of concurrency and see how go-routines dramatically increase the number of tasks we can do concurrently.

A great explanation. But at 2:57, you mention that you need to give up on isolation to utilize threads, this is quite inaccurate. Threads have their own type of isolation, they are scoped to their own execution context but with the access to global variables of the process.
