The greeting 'osaki ni'(ahead) of the haitas here has two meanings.
In Japanese, 'Tabidachi' (setting off or on a trip) means 'travel' and 'pass away'.
So when Heiter says 'osaki ni', it is a farewell greeting that means 'I will travel ahead of you (return to the Holy City)' and 'I will pass away first'.
The dialogue is difficult to convey to people abroad, but this is a scene with a lot of emotional weight.

There may possibly be a line that is translated into English that has a double meaning in Japanese, but is not conveyed in English.
In the previous season's anime, mistranslations were a hot topic at the apothecary.
most importantly I feel like It's a complete story of calmness, charm ,quite love and thrill... soo much of these that it will refresh you even if you were depressed... I love this anime's vibe sooo much... very rare animes do these together... SUCH a beautiful STORY it is that it is worth of telling to your grandkids
there´s a new show coming out in January called Delicious in Dungeon, try it out if you want a story as well writen as this

Watching this anime hits different as an adult. All the memories past adventures in your youth or school days come rushing back. You relate to Frieren much more as she reminisces about her party members.
The fact that the VA of Frieren is the same person as Anya from Spy Family... Mind blowing🤯

@@rasna2212 i don't think so, my family and relatives reacts the same way to sad or similar scenes. Maybe they're kinda shy or embarassed to show so they joke around or smth that similar.

After I watched the first episode of this anime, I immediately realized that not everyone can enjoy the storyline, Especially beginners who prefer fast storylines with clear goals like most fantasy anime.
