Honestly, don't worry so much about coming across as a princess or ungrateful. You're allowed to not like things in life. I personally despise camping and I didn't grow up doing it. Live your life and the haters are always gonna hate! Thanks for the very real vlog (made even more real by your hatred of camping, imo.)
Oh my GOODNESS…. I sacrificed my desires over and over for the love of my children, and we camped. I hated every second of the prep, the set up, and the tear down… It is work for the Mom. We work so hard in life to get the more comfortable bed the more comfortable home, the dishwasher, the washing machine and the dryer, and then we want to go on vacation and rough it? It’s never made sense to me, but I did it with a happy heart for my children!! They LOVED it, and that thrills my soul!!! Now days, we have a glorious motorhome that is fully stocked and ready to go! I have my bathroom, shower, refrigerator, and we still sit around the campsite and camp!!! It’s so much easier and very enjoyable!!!
Camping is a way to teach children that the most important thing to have a good time is family. Because you are in the middle of nowhere with just a tent and your loved ones.
Haha I totally relate to this. Growing up though, we had a camper and so we did more glamping as they call it and honestly I think that would be a great compromise and everyone involved would be better. In ours there was a bathroom/shower, 2 sets of bunk beds, a queen size bed for my parents and the couch and table converted into sleeping. It was a blast to bring friends and cousins to camp and have all the same experiences without sleeping in a tent
The fact that you really don’t like camping (same!) but still are willing to go and do your best to just suck it up and be a good vibe for your family, just shows how good of a mother you are 🫶🏻 also sidenote: I don’t know why but a 4 year old doing perfect push ups might be the most australian thing I‘ve ever seen 😂👏🏻 you guys are built different
Awwww, this reminds me of a time (10 yrs ago) that hubby and I went camping with our church group; We took our 4 kids, ages 4,5,8,13 and we thought it'd be a good idea to also take our niece and nephew (ages 10,16) and stay all in one huge tent. Well, my 4 yr old cried all night due to a thunderstorm. We got zero sleep. The next morning, my 8 yr old decided to take off his water shoes, so he cut the bottom of his foot as he took the first step into the rocky water; my nephew started turning blue while he was in the water (super cold spring water); my niece got her period. So yeah, first camping experience did not go well. But you know what? My kids cherish this memory. I just can't beleive hubby and I survived. Now our "kids" are 14,16,19,24 and I'm looking forward to making more crazy memories 😂😂 Definitely a camping trip is due (separate tents this time LOL). We still camped when kids got older, and each experience has had an interesting turn of events 😁
I actually LIVE for camping hahaha! But I totally understand how it some ppl hate it. There’s a lot to think about ahead of the trip for planning and packing, food, reservations, or hiking trails and maps. It’s def a lot of prep and breakdown and I also get how ppl hate being in comfortbale sleeping on the e ground and such. I don’t love that part but waking up in the remote woods with silence and tall trees or waking up on a silent misty lake is just beautiful and appreciative of nature and the universe. Especially since you are religious that could be a way to view it that may help you appreciate it more. The thing I don’t love as much is when your right on top of other ppl and other campers at a crowded campsite so maybe a more remote location would help you view it or appreciate it more bc it’s just so much for calming and peaceful rather than chaotic. It def doesn’t have to be for everyone but just offering some help or maybe insight for you and your fam since the boys love it!
It’s a great way I find to unplug and get away from the noise of everyday life and stress. Also I second the camper rv route too as other commenters mentioned. I did as a child in my grandfathers trailer and we loved it so much sleeping in the bunks, making a fire, going to the lake, and hiking the waterfalls upstate NY.
My husband and I have fine tuned our camping trips to where we can pack very minimally, and it's still a ton of work! It is so fun but is a lot of work and I also hate being dirty but I love being out in nature so, we do it😊
I am team camping but! We have a popup. It’s made a huge difference so much easier to set up , we have a sink and games and even bring a projector so when it’s rainy we can cuddle up in our beds and watch a movie. Def the way to go.
We as mothers think about three things when planning a camping trip, whether or not we love it. 1. All the to dos and things we need to organize and pack. 2. All the mess that we need to unpack, wash, and put away, when we’re back. 3. The fact that we need a serious break after all that work.🤣🤣🤣 And I like camping (with a few contingencies.😂)
😂 I’m a camping girly I love it so watching this makes me laugh so much! “Why you not going in your hole” “the erections wrong” I AM HOWLING! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I haven’t had my own kids yet but the idea of camping with kids sounds like A LOT! I went with my dog once and that was enough 😂🤍
I loved this vlog lol i wish the storm didnt come because i think we wouldve had so many more cute moments and relatable ones lol (not that it didnt have those, i just imagine had they been able to camp the whole time it wouldve been fun to see what everyone got into
I grew up on a farm so my growing up was like camping to me. When my husband wanted to take the kids camping , I was like no way so I stayed home. Then I started going cuz I felt I missed out on the fun. And I ended up loving it so much. The fires, the biking , the beaching , the games and cozy tent. Now the boys are grown and I go camping by myself. The peacefulness of the forest, the sound of the waves , the sun shining through the trees , the hiking and being disconnected is everything 😊. But I feel ya Sarah , it was work for the parents but the kids had so much fun ! Your a good sport for going .
I FREAKING ADORE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ❤❤❤❤❤ I just found out I’m 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant you inspire Me so much as a mom I hope to document everything like you on my channel ❤❤❤❤ so excited ❤❤❤❤
Loved this vlog! I think some of my best memories as a child were camping with family. It’s a sacrifice for the core memories 😂 hope you guys (especially Foxy) get the full experience soon x
My husband would call that style of camping.. GLAMPING! Definitely nothing like military camping for us. Definitely go again! It gets fun with more friends and kids ❤
I can’t believe I’ve been here since the beginning to know exactly what you’re talking about when you went snowboarding by yourself and the situation that you were in!also when you were obsessed with hemp seeds, but also i get blue dinosaur bars memories as well randomly. I think that’s what they were called?
100% agree! Only times I've gone camping is to support the kids during childhood to give them the experience/memories. Now that they are young adults, my camping days are over! 😁
Hhaha I hate camping to, I can't deal with sleeping with unwashed feet lol BUT I have to say, seeing the kids (3 girls) all riding their motorbikes, laughing with each other and just generally being back to basics is so beautifully wholesome ❤
I've followed you for years. And I can honestly say that every time I come to your page you cure my depression for a while. I love your energy, your personality, just you. Thank you for being here. Thank you ❤
You would enjoy camping way more with a camper trailer! It’s a game changer with kids. So quick to set up and all your camping stuff just lives in there. Full kitchen, comfy bed and it feels a lot safer with the kids
I love how you still gave it a go, and the way you laughed about it even though you didn’t enjoy it yourself! I aspire to do the same in the future 🫶🏼 Love ya!
I have the exact same feelings as you when it comes to camping! Already so much to do as a mom….. Then add in packing for everyone, figuring out the food situation, sleep situation (I sleep bed in my own bed), activities… Tear down, pack everything back up, come home to mess and having to put everything back in its place 😅… This is not my idea of a fun time LOL
Why don’t you guys get a caravan with ensuite & bunks? We were thinking of selling ours but after watching this Vlog I’m thinking it’s easy with a caravan haha. You still spend most of your time outdoors but atleast you have air conditioning, heating, toilet, full size fridge, oven, kitchen bench and sink. You don’t have to unpack when you get there. It takes all of 10 minutes to set up & we bought an instantaneous hot water service for ours, never ending hot water. #glamp
I will be honest and say I don't really like camping either and I don't even have kids! So I guess you could say it would be "easier" for me. And like you I have gone camping when I was younger with my family (we used to do annual Easter camping trips) and they were fun to some degree because I was with my extended family, but certain parts of it weren't so fun. Firstly, I feel like if you're going to go camping you have to have all the camping equipment; like the tent, the things you cook on, the mattresses, the tables, the chairs and everything else. But because my mum was a single mum she didn't have any of this stuff and couldn't afford any of this stuff, so she always had to use other peoples stuff (problem number one) and then had to set up everything by herself (problem number 2). I mean she did get help from other people in my family eventually, but you can't really enjoy camping until everything is set up and the set up (atleast in my family) is stressful. Sometimes people got into arguments or people got angry and I guess it was good as a kid that I could just wonder off and explore with my cousins and come back when everything was done.. but now that I'm an adult I can't really do that anymore and that just feels like such a nightmare. Like I'd rather go somewhere where it's already all done for you, like in a cabin or hotel or motel or whatever. That way you only have to unpack really. Like there's no stress and you're not just sleeping basically on the ground, trying to battle the elements. Like I remember one camping trip it rained so much and the water went through the tent, or would come into the tent and it was cold and horrible (never camp in the rain). But also why would anyone want to sleep basically on the ground when you could sleep in a bed? Why would you want to be metres away from a bathroom/toilet when it could literally be steps away in a cabin or hotel/motel? And some people's ideas of camping is even more rogue where there is no toilets or bathrooms and you just simply bring your own toilet and shower, or do your business in the wild, that sounds even more horrible to me. Then there's bugs and everything is just dirty all the time and no matter how many times you clean it or shower yourself, you just never feel clean when you're camping. It doesn't feel cozy or homely to me, it just feels gross, like there is no where I can just lie down and relax. I'd much rather just get a cabin in the same place that others are camping, because I really hate the idea of sleeping in a tent. I get that it's fun for kids because it was for me when I was kid, but now I am an adult, it just doesn't feel that way anymore. I don't think that makes me a princess, I think it just makes me know that I have learned more about myself now that I am an adult and camping is just not one of those things that I find fun or enjoyable. I mean nothing against people who do find it that way, it's just not my thing and I think it's perfectly fine for some people to like something and other people to not. It's just personal preference really.
I have been waiting for this vlog! Love your beautiful family! My littlest one turned 1 yesterday, and we have a camping trip next week so this is such a hype up for me 😂!
I am right with you Sezzy !!! I hate no I loathe camping!!! Hated it as a child and will never go as an adult. My kids, when they got older they went on their own with friends. So they weren't "deprived " of anything! Lol. You are good, Mom, for going ❤
loool !! I absolutely loved this video !! I say I want to go camping and i only remember going once! and had very little sleep but im willing to try again ! Sarah you are veeery justified to not like camping !!!! maybe next time you guys can go glamping sarah style !!!
We live in Alaska so the common vaca mode is camping. We have 2 little boys the same ages as your boys. We take very short trips- like 4 days max. And have low expectations. It’s hard to camp with little kids.
You don’t have to like camping! It’s not for everyone I definitely would not / do not enjoy camping in a tent. Especially with kids 😅 I do however enjoy going camping in our van! You have your own comfortable space and it’s much better haha!
I am with you beautiful. I've never been camping, and my husband and I never took our 3 girls camping, and they survived. I don't even like to cook when I go on holiday. A holiday or weekend getaway means relaxing, and sometimes that means a little bit of pampering and luxury.
There is a chain of stores on PEI, canada called cows. Its an ice cream shop but also puts a cow spin on beloved characters and the like, on tshirts, and they did a bluey version. I feel like the boys need it.
Can we please not give Princesses a bad name?! 🤭 My Princess loves camping! Also, I bet you’d enjoy camping in an RV! Super fun outdoor experience with all the conveniences! 🙌
I love camping, but the amount of WORK it takes almost makes it not worth it, so I get it!! Also the bathroom anxiety is insane haha. But it looks like the kiddos liked it ☺️
I have three boys that love camping 🏕️ me not so much it's so exhausting so I completely understand best advice I have is definitely pack extra towels ❤
I always hated camping as a kid and my parents forced it every year too. So I get you big time. And also now I would never suggest it - the constant cleaning thing is so true! But thanks for the great "if I have to go I'll go but don't expect me to do anything" tip , it's gonna be used in my household :D
I won’t lie I do love camping and even more since we bought a pump up tent, they are omg so much easier and so fast to put up and take down, but I miss being a kid camping and not having to do the set up and pack up. The boys always vanish at those times so me and my fiancé are always left to do it all alone 😂
Pro-tip…get yourself a man who has done many years in the army. They have NO INTEREST in anything remotely camping related. If I even mention it he says ‘I’ve done my time sleeping rough’. 👏
I’m sorry but what😂 Mooey going to fight that cockatoo and then running away was GOLD😂
😂soooo adorable
😂😂all bark no bite

Not fox saying the Oxley “I wanna marry you” so cuteeeee! It’s so nice seeing young boys learning to love on each other
Sarah I couldn't agree with you more about camping! Also, Fox thank you for requesting your mom to vlog this.
So grateful for Fox this is great content
8:28 Foxy says “I want to marry you”, he really loves his friend 🥹

Omg I didn't even notice that 🥹🥹🥹🥺🥺🥺🥺
Omg yes I have noticed that too so cute and innocent 🥹🥹
„At least my dog‘s a girl“😭😭😂😂😂
Malakai fighting the bird was so Goddamn hilarious 😂😂

The shellshocked little boys at 11:43 😂😂😂
Hearing your dirty jokes after watching you for so many years is the funniest thing
Still a family friendly channel with a little parental giggle in their 😊
Not gunna lie I loved this part 🤣🤣

I'll be patiently waiting for a Japan vlog.... it would be FIRE 🔥
Oh my gosh we can’t wait!! I think we’d wait until our youngest is 3!
Are we not going to address the fact Oxley just did pushups better than me
Moo trying to fight the cockatoo! *cue tears of laughter*

Mallymoo and the cockatoo not only sounds like an amazing kids book but was so funny too watch 😂
Same.. I want to be into camping and I do enjoy some parts. But the clean up and pack down after ruins it all.
I FREAKING ADORE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ❤❤❤❤❤ I just found out I’m 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant you inspire Me so much as a mom I hope to document everything like you on my channel ❤❤❤❤ so excited ❤❤❤❤
most relatable camping trip ever lmao
This is so wholesome, and real ❤
Mooey squaring up with the cockatoo and than legging it was hilarious
Loved this vlog! I think some of my best memories as a child were camping with family. It’s a sacrifice for the core memories 😂 hope you guys (especially Foxy) get the full experience soon x
Hahaha poo anxiety I feel ya 😂
My husband would call that style of camping.. GLAMPING! Definitely nothing like military camping for us. Definitely go again! It gets fun with more friends and kids ❤
Camping with kids is definitely a lot of work, but I agree with Kurt! Camping is such a fun core memory of childhood!!
I can’t believe I’ve been here since the beginning to know exactly what you’re talking about when you went snowboarding by yourself and the situation that you were in!also when you were obsessed with hemp seeds, but also i get blue dinosaur bars memories as well randomly. Yes omg blue dinosaur bars 😂
100% agree! Only times I've gone camping is to support the kids during childhood to give them the experience/memories. Now that they are young adults, my camping days are over! 😁

This was one of my favorite vlogs yet! I was literally laughing out loud 😂
The car camping snowboarding trip is honestly a cannon event
I love camping so much but if I’m uncomfortable it can be horrible. The weather and sleep make a HUGE difference to if it’s great or sucksss
I love how you still gave it a go, and the way you laughed about it even though you didn’t enjoy it yourself! I aspire to do the same in the future 🫶🏼 Love ya!
Please stop apologising, you can love/hate whatever you want ❤ had a lot of fun watching it 😘
@6:43 the fit of laugher I’m in after it 😉🤣🤣
😂😂😂

Mallys little sway at the beginning 🥹
Princess Sarah is too relatable 😂 we all know this would be 90% of us
Forgiveness sometimes comes a little too late, but just remember its always better late then never
Camp with grandparents - total hack. Your parents get pestered from dusk to dawn, you get peace. It is golden haha.
#glamp
“I work too hard to sleep on the ground” is my stance on camping 😂 you are validated Sarah!!
Ngl this looks so fun to do, everybody together, friends and family. I wish!!
Such a fun vlog! Can you do a grocery shop with me video/vlog. I learned so much from your old videos!
You are 100% right we already do so much as moms. The last thing we need is more work!
I love foxes reaction to going camping. The coffee machine is a must aswell, 😂
Sezzy, I love camping and I can’t wait to go with my husband and future kids. That being said, I grew up in Colorado so it’s a vibe there 🤣
My 3 year old cried when we had to pack up and go home from camping. I find camping hard work but always the best memories

Oh my gosh I love this 😂 I remember watching the vlog of you camping in your car at the snow!! So cool to see your family adventures now
The fact that you went is SO much more impressive knowing you were pregnant!! That’s crazy
What about cabins instead of tent camping?
Athena dress at the end fire. Also love day in a life and cooking videos ❤
Oh I can totally relate with you. I absolutely hate camping and glamping sounds more like my style..!
Watching this a few hours before we go camping 😅 With a 6yo, 4yo, and 3 month old. I usually love camping but honestly pray for me LOL. 😂
I like camping 😊 and Malakai and the cockatoo was the best
I am right with you Sezzy !!! I hate no I loathe camping!!!
Hated it as a child and will never go as an adult. My kids, when they got older they went on their own with friends. So they weren't "deprived " of anything! Lol.
You are good, Mom, for going ❤
Love every minute of this😂😂

Okay, come throoouugghh dance moves there at the end!! As a former dancer/dance instructor, I LIVE.
We live in Alaska so the common vaca mode is camping. We have 2 little boys the same ages as your boys. We take very short trips- like 4 days max. And have low expectations. It’s hard to camp with little kids.
Brightening up my Thursday 😊
Loved this vlog. Camping nostalgia.
Living for the dance break at the end, still got it! That attitude turn was on point :)
You don’t have to like camping! It’s not for everyone
I definitely would not / do not enjoy camping in a tent. Especially with kids 😅
I do however enjoy going camping in our van! You have your own comfortable space and it’s much better haha!
FOX! You’re voice broke my heart😭 the toilet anxiety tho. Nope, not a camper either😅
The best blog eveeeeeeer. Such a lighthearted mood 😂❤
I DESPISE camping lol my parents made me camp and fish 😢 i hated every minute of it and thankfully my hubby hates it too! Yay!🎉
I’m not even a mom and I relate so much when it comes to cleaning 😂
Your happiest moment was when you went home 😂 That is me!!
Go Glamping!!! ✨✨
But it looks like the kiddos liked it ☺️
I have three boys that love camping 🏕️ me not so much it's so exhausting so I completely understand best advice I have is definitely pack extra towels ❤
this was such a fun vlog! totally agree with the whole camping thing!
I always hated camping as a kid and my parents forced it every year too. So I get you big time. And also now I would never suggest it - the constant cleaning thing is so true! But thanks for the great "if I have to go I'll go but don't expect me to do anything" tip , it's gonna be used in my household :D
HAHA those quick dirty jokes. Love seeing your personality shine!!
Camping isn't my jam either, but I also have boys, so I totally understand they need those outdoor experiences.
Oka!!! Love this!!! So fun!! Lol Sarah keep it real always ❤😂
I feel you Sarah.. I have 4 girls!!! imagine camping with 4 girls..... masks, fashion (changing evers 4 hours)......
Soooooo agree, half the appeal of a hotel is someone tidies the room and makes the bed so I don’t have to for once
